I'm greygerbil on AO3, thank you for writing or drawing for me! Right from the start, I want to say you don’t have to do anything with my prompts, they’re just here in case you want some ideas. If it has my pairing and avoids my DNWs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are great. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests. When it comes to kinks, you can include anything not listed under my DNWs.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairings I requested, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Some prompts may read like ideas for longer fics, but if you’re interested in them, please just grab a scene with the general idea out of the middle of those hypothetical longfics and write me that! I love fic of all length and don’t want anyone to feel like they have to go above the minimum word count. I just get excited writing prompts sometimes.

Considering the number of canons I have where you slaughter your way through untold heaps of NPCs, I should also point out I generally have no problem with gore, blood, and graphic violence.

I like black-and-white lineart just as much as elaborately shaded coal or pencil drawings and, of course, colours of every sort, traditional and digital alike. I’d very much like to see my requested pairings in your style, but if you have a specific stylistic idea, that’s always super fun, too.

Literally any motive that indicates it is shippy would always be appreciated, from hand-holding to explicit porn. I’m also always here for pictures of battle couples in action, if you enjoy fight scenes, or the characters doing simple, everyday things together and enjoying themselves. I also have pairings-specific art prompts under the entries for the pairings.

Vampyr

Jonathan Reid/Sean Hampton
Sean is the love interest I wanted! I enjoy how gentle and meek he is, but also how he obviously has a lot of courage and a stubborn head of his own. Meanwhile, Jonathan cares about people, but is a very good protagonist in that he seems always ready to push his own will through. Plus, they are both caretakers (who are also people-eating monsters) in their own right. I can see everything from tooth-rotting fluff to the two of them solving crimes and helping people together to them getting into an argument over something they are at odds about and having to resolve that somehow. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean.

• I would still love a version of the game where Sean is the love interest instead of Elisabeth. I don’t mean repeating the whole game, of course, but changing/adding some scenes. Sean’s already Princess Peaching it in Bishop’s den where you valiantly save him, it’s the perfect set-up for a charged conversation or three back in the hospital. Perhaps Jonathan can get some comfort and guidance from Sean by half-alluding to the terrible situation he’s in (or Sean, having known vampires for a decade, surprises Jonathan eventually with the revelation that he knows very well what Jonathan is and is not afraid of it). I’d also enjoy scenes of Jonathan returning to him between missions and/or an adjusted ending where Jonathan goes to Sean afterwards. Maybe they help Old Bridget clean up the sewer hide-out, which could be a sombre scene, since Sean also considered the Skals his flock. Or, for something happier, they could simply celebrate the end of the epidemic and Jonathan’s survival.


• Jonathan is the fighter between the two, but I can see Sean throwing himself into an altercation to help a wounded Jonathan, too. Dude turns into a pretty high-level feral Skal with shadow clones when you leave him to the blood of hate, so he could probably at least hold his own for a bit, long enough for Jonathan to recover; but he’s also not someone used to fighting and might get pretty banged up. I just like them working together or saving each other and any situation where that happens would be great, plus them taking care of the problem for good once they have licked their wounds.


• Sean is worried about one of his flock who has been behaving very strangely, or something else that is fishy at the docks, and him and Jonathan solve the mystery and get closer again in the process.


• Or the other way around, Jonathan has a mysterious case at his clinic who also asks for spiritual guidance and so Jonathan goes to find Sean, who gets some strange half-confessions and pleas for help. Who is responsible? What is going on in Londontown this night? I don’t know, but Sean and Jonathan may end up kissing while they find out.


• They also generally have a lot of enemies: the Ascalon club could be going after Jonathan for not heeding their wishes or become too interested in what a weird Skal type Sean is, other elder vampires might come back from the continent and bring their own entourage, there’s the Guard of Priwen and certainly other hunter factions, too, some less respectful upstart gang or union member with his cronies around Sean’s territory could be trying to teach him a lesson... these two have their hands full.


• I’d also love a quieter fic about their relationship which just kind of tracks its development. Does Jonathan ever introduce Sean to... well, what’s left of his family, his mum and his butler? Probably not as his boyfriend, but maybe he wants to see Sean make a connection with them. What about sex? Is Sean a virgin, apart from what happened to him? Does he ever say more about that to Jonathan when they get closer? Does Jonathan try to let intimacy start slowly to get him used to it, or does something happen unplanned that perhaps surprises them both?


• I’d also love them dealing with the actual fallout of the Spanish flu epidemic (that still happened, after all) and/or the returning soldiers. There’ll be a lot of work for a spiritual caretaker and a doctor to do.


• Also, Jonathan returning to London after the second-worst ending, when he failed to save Elisabeth and might just generally feel terrible about himself, and Sean meeting him, and the two of them attempting to put their lives back together while getting closer, would be nice.


• I’m also a sucker for vampires feeding and hurt/comfort, so if Jonathan or Sean got hurt and the other offered them some blood, that would also be a great fic. Skals don’t seem to heal as well or quickly as Ekons, either, so maybe Jonathan can put some proper bandages on Sean, too, or Sean could allow him to do that examination he rejected at first (that part could probably veer into a smut prompt, heh).


• Jump forward in time! I’d love to see their established relationship thirty, fifty, a hundred years down the road. How do they live? Or, perhaps they haven’t always been together, but they meet again like eighty years later or something and fall in love.


• Jonathan went through seven kinds of hell in the span of like two weeks in the game (and for that matter, Sean wasn’t exactly having a great time, either). If at some point he runs out of energy, or just has a break-down as it all catches up with him, I would love for Sean to be around to pick him up and comfort him and commiserate (even if Jonathan might feel that the rather rough manner in which he saved Sean should preclude him from such sympathy).


• For Art: I’d definitely like anything to do with the prompts above. Otherwise, I’d love to see Sean and Jonathan against the backdrop of the dark London we see in-game that both of them fit into so easily. I’m also always here for anything that shows their height difference. One of them carrying the other would also be cute (with Skal strength, Sean should be able to manage it now!). Also, put Sean in Jonathan’s coat! Or other versions of clothes-sharing, I always enjoy that a lot. The two of them fighting together or Jonathan teaching Sean how to defend himself in a sparring match would be nice. I’d also love a quieter depiction of them just hanging out or cuddling. Maybe Jonathan introduces Sean to his mother and/or butler? A picture of them together in a later time-period with appropriate clothes and styling would also be awesome.

Geoffrey McCullum/Sean Hampton
These two don’t meet in-game, but I feel like it’d be really interesting if they did. Geoffrey has probably never met a Skal like Sean before and his new perspective (either because he is a vampire or because Jonathan spared him) might keep him from killing him outright, and Sean could be really good for him, since surely Geoffrey must be affected by what has happened to him recently one way or the other and could use someone kind who is generally ready to listen and help. Besides, someone’s gotta keep the city standing if Jonathan left to America/the castle, and Sean and Geoffrey are both involved in doing just that, in their own ways. That would give them many opportunities to interact. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean.

• What I find fascinating is that if Jonathan didn’t turn Geoffrey, Arthur’s blood might still have done it eventually, and perhaps Sean just happens upon Geoffrey when that occurs and helps him through it. That would also create an interesting connection for them.


• Hell, for all we know, Geoffrey and Sean could have met before the game. There’s a note from Geoffrey saying he knows they don’t have enough recruits at the East End docks, so it’s not impossible he would walk the perimeter there himself sometimes and eventually meet Sean and even befriend him, since Sean is just a human at that point. I would love a calm-before-the-storm kind of mutual crush or cute romance between them pre-game (which might already be tainted by Sean probably lying to Geoffrey about the undead part of his flock). Alternatively, how would poor Geoffrey react to his crush or even boyfriend turning into a Skal? Would he find it his responsibility to kill him, but can’t bring himself to? And then he (potentially) changes himself...


• Jonathan could introduce Sean to Geoffrey before he leaves London with a note to Geoffrey to keep his hands off of Sean if he doesn’t want to get in trouble. However, I’m sure Geoffrey would still want to keep an eye on this Skal positioned just at the right place where he could make people few would miss vanish. Sean working to get his trust and actually getting it and more would be fun.


• Geoffrey and Sean are both from Dublin and have both left terrible memories behind there. How interesting would it be if something necessitated that they have to go back, some case they both try to solve or some vampire/hunter threatening them? I would love to read them navigate the city and their own pasts together. Alternatively, I also like them speaking Irish together, talking about a street or something they both might have known; or perhaps Geoffrey used to be a proper Irish Catholic boy once upon a time, too? Just things like that which provide innitial connection points.


• They also generally have a lot of enemies: the Ascalon Club could be going after Geoffrey for being a hunter or become too interested in what a weird Skal type Sean is, other elder vampires might come back from the continent and bring their own entourage, there’s other hunter factions, too, some less respectful upstart gang or union member with his cronies around Sean’s territory could be trying to teach him a lesson... these two have their hands full.


• Perhaps Jonathan didn’t want to draw Geoffrey’s attention to Sean, so he didn’t tell him about Sean at all and they just run into each other. How does Sean manage to talk his way out of being immediately murdered (or has Geoffrey perhaps mellowed a little bit and now does give vampires who look reasonable a chance – but then again, Skals can’t be reasonable, right...)? How does Geoffrey come to tolerate and like this weird uncommon Skal? Does Sean think Geoffrey’s a thug at first and later comes around, or does he see something else in him straight from the beginning?


• I’d also love a quieter fic about their relationship which just kind of tracks its development. Does Geoffrey tell him about his family or his adopted father, perhaps takes him to the graveyard? What about sex? Sean might be a virgin, apart from what happened to him. Does he ever say something about the abuse in his past to Geoffrey when they get closer, does he tell him at all, or does Geoffrey learn it through gossip like Jonathan did? Does Geoffrey try to let intimacy start slowly to get him used to things, or does something happen unplanned that perhaps surprises them both?


• Sean is worried about one of his flock who has been behaving very strangely, or something else that is fishy at the docks, and him and Geoffrey solve the mystery and get closer in the process.


• Combatant or not, Geoffrey thinks Sean needs some self-defence lessons if he wants to stay alive and protect his immortal flock. They train vampire powers together and get closer over it.


• Jump forward in time! I’d love to see their established relationship thirty, fifty, a hundred years down the road. How do they live? Or, perhaps they haven’t always been together, but they meet again like eighty years later or something and fall in love.


• Both Sean and Geoffrey seemed to take this whole changing into a monster thing kind of eerily well, but maybe they also just didn’t want to talk to Jonathan about it, especially in that very hectic situation with the epidemic. Sure, Sean knew Skals before, but you can’t tell me he has no reaction to wanting to eat corpses now (or that very weird slight personality shift he had when he was still controlled by the blood of hate, that’d scare him in retrospect, I imagine). Perhaps he does allow himself a minor breakdown and Geoffrey finds him, or they are already close and Sean talks to him. Or, on the other hand, Geoffrey reaches his breaking point and Sean comforts him and convinces him that he doesn’t need to stake himself.


• For Art: I’d definitely like anything to do with the prompts above. Geoffrey McCullum/Jonathan Reid/Sean Hampton
This mess of a threesome is another favourite idea of mine. There’s just so much charge there: the anger Geoffrey must feel for Jonathan, particularly if he has made him an Ekon, his aggression towards vampires turning against Skal Sean, but his newfound knowledge also perhaps halting him and showing him that both Jonathan and Sean might be the kind of vampires who don’t deserve death and thus confusing him a lot in the process. Sean is likely still a bit resentful towards Jonathan, if his curt answer concerning an examination is anything to go by, and Geoffrey would probably scare or at least worry him, but I think Sean would also try to help Jonathan and Geoffrey both if he knew the extent of their tragedies. Finally, Jonathan sees the good in both these men, but also has to live with the things he’s done to them, and, considering how Geoffrey hunted him, is probably as angry at him as Geoffrey is at Jonathan. This fic can of course also include Geoffrey/Jonathan, Jonathan/Sean, or Geoffrey/Sean as long as it eventually turns into a triad and no one is actively, purposefully cheating on someone else (muddy situations and stuff like we're-pretending-to-be-FWB-but-are-actually-pining is fine though). For smut, I prefer bottom Sean and have no preferences between the other two. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean.

• Jonathan is, of course, the logical connection point between them, so it might start out with him in a relationship/flirting with one of them first before the other joins. But perhaps Jonathan also takes a bit of a break from London after the game and finds his progeny have gotten to know each other in his absence.


• Considering how long an examination of how they got together could go, I’d also be perfectly fine if you skipped to an established three-way relationship kind of deal, just showing how they deal with the world as a triad. How do they approach new threats in the city, how does Geoffrey keep his fellow guards from killing his boyfriends (and potentially himself), do Geoffrey and Sean help Jonathan at the hospital or with searching for a way to quell vampire hunger, and do Geoffrey and Jonathan make sure the shelter stays safe?


• I would also just like to see them hanging out, bickering, doing naughty things. These boys are busy, I’m sure they could all stand to relax together sometimes. Just one or all of them reflecting on the relationship would be really interesting, too.


• A story idea for established relationship could be the three of them getting locked in somewhere and fighting their way out – though Sean is not much of a fighter, but perhaps he can make a good blood bag for the other two to replenish after or during the battle? (Then again, we know he turns into a tough mini boss if you let him deteriorate, so perhaps there’s more to him in a fight than anyone expects.)


• If Geoffrey was not turned by Jonathan but by Arthur’s blood, Arthur might come over to London to take a look at his newest progeny and in the process also meeting his younger “brother” Jonathan and Sean the weird Skal. Whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen, but it might bring the three closer together.


• Jump forward in time! I’d love to see their established relationship thirty, fifty, a hundred years down the road. How do they live? Or, perhaps they haven’t always been together, or maybe only two of them have been, but they meet again like eighty years later or something and all fall in love.


• They also generally have a lot of enemies: the Ascalon Club could be going after Geoffrey for being a hunter or for Jonathan for not listening to them or become too interested in what a weird Skal type Sean is, other elder vampires might come back from the continent and bring their own entourage, there’s other hunter factions, too, some less respectful upstart gang or union member with his cronies around Sean’s territory could be trying to teach him a lesson... these three have their hands full.

• For smut, I would love to see them doing it in all sorts of constellations: in a pile all three on each other (Sean being spitroasted would be great), or with two of them performing for the third, or one of them performing for the two others while they touch each other. Perhaps Sean isn’t quite comfortable jumping right in with two men at first, so they ease him into it. Or Sean is a lot more ready to experiment than they exptected and they have fun with that. Perhaps a little later into their relationship, Geoffrey and Jonathan are so busy bickering that Sean somehow ends up taking control at some point and nudges them to do what he wants to get this show on the road.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. I would love to see the three of them doing anything together – Sean and Geoffrey helping Jonathan out at the hospital, Jonathan and Geoffrey helping out at the shelter, the three of them just hanging out in Jonathan’s house or some other private place and getting a moment to rest (or get up to something naughty). The three of them in full battle mode (or Sean hiding behind them while the other two are) would be awesome, too, as would be Sean patching up the two warriors, or Jonathan and Sean both patching up Geoffrey after a scuffle. Any gesture of affection, like a three-way hug, sleeping in a pile, or sharing clothes between the three of them would be great, too. A picture of them together in a later time-period with appropriate clothes and styling would also be awesome.

Song Lan/Xiao Xingchen
So canon did not go very well for these two, to put it mildly, and as beautiful as the Yi City arc was, I really just want a little happiness for them. Obviously, fix-it fic would be extremely appreciated here, but if you’d rather delve into their relationship before tragedy struck, that would also be very interesting. I really enjoyed their idea of wanting to create a sect that does not rely on bloodlines and generally would love to hear about them night-hunting together and see more of how they acted around other people to get the reputations they have (bright moon, gentle breeze & distant snow, cold frost). Also, if you’re in a part of the timeline where A-Qing might show up, feel free to include as much of her as you like! I really enjoyed her character and her relationship with Xiao Xingchen and would have loved to have seen her interact more with Song Lan. If you want to return Xiao Xingchen to a living body and/or Song Lan to an alive state, feel free to do so (I’m very happy for that to be the plot, but you can also handwave entirely). Generally, though, I would love it if Xiao Xingchen was still blind if he gets a new body or his is restored, and while I’m totally okay with Song Lan’s tongue being restored (or not), I would love it if he kept Xiao Xingchen’s eyes because I find that whole interaction of Xiao Xingchen giving up his sight so meaningful for their relationship. For smut, I prefer bottom Xiao Xingchen. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Xiao Xingchen.

• How did Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen meet, anyway, and how did their relationship develop? Maybe they were going after the same prey, or ran into each other right in the middle of a fight during a night-hunt? Or maybe they decided to meet up because they’d heard of each other? Xiao Xingchen is also a very approachable person, but Song Lan apparently less so, so how did they start getting along in the first place? How did they come up with their plan for their own sect? How did they fall in love?


• Apparently, Song Lan is mysophobic to some degree and doesn’t enjoy being touched. Him slowly warming up to the idea of being touched by Xiao Xingchen would be very nice to see (whether this goes into a fluffy or a smutty direction).


• Maybe Song Lan recovers earlier than he does in canon and intercepts Xiao Xingchen on his way down the mountain or shortly afterwards.


• Generally, I always enjoy characters night-hunting, whether this is before Yi City, or a much less traditional night-hunt with a fierce corpse and a spirit working together (or Xiao Xingchen somehow acquires a body again).


• If they do hunt past Yi City, I could see Xiao Xingchen being extremely twitchy or not even wanting to join in anymore, fearing that he will kill more people. Perhaps he does interfere once Song Lan is in mortal danger? Or maybe he slowly starts to trust himself again because he knows Song Lan would not betray him.


• Or the two of them settle down somewhere (Xiao Xingchen in a new body, or as a spirit), possibly with A-Qing, and both give up on hunting, but hunting has not given up on them! People are in danger and nobody is around to help, and the two of them are not the type to sit idly by.


• There was that crucial moment in Yi City where they almost met. What if Xiao Xingchen had left the house in that moment and ran into them, or A-Qing had announced Song Lan’s presence, or Song Lan had been overcome by emotion and couldn’t stop himself from taking a quick look inside to check if he was alright, and Xiao Xingchen noticed that someone was there? I think they could have at least beaten off Xue Yang, if not overcome him, if they had fought side-by-side (though later, they might still have to deal with the emotional fallout of Xiao Xingchen possibly learning he killed all these other people).


• Also, I would absolutely be here for an AU where Song Lan catches up with Xiao Xingchen and A-Qing before they ever find Xue Yang and they just avoid the whole Yi City debacle entirely, and Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan get to have their reunion.


• Past Yi City, how do they communicate if Xiao Xingchen’s spirit recovers? Xiao Xingchen presumable still can’t see any signs, but Song Lan can’t speak. However, I’m sure he would have spent the time while he was caring about the souls coming up with some idea. Or maybe as a spirit, Xiao Xingchen has powers that allow him to communicate in totally different ways?


• Maybe Song Lan spends quite a long time carefully watching the souls of A-Qing and Xiao Xingchen, but while A-Qing recovers, Xiao Xingchen doesn’t, and Song Lan eventually finds himself forced to accept the idea that Xiao Xingchen’s mind was just in too much turmoil to ever reassemble (not that it stops him from being very careful with the remains of his soul). Except, one day or night, Xiao Xingchen’s spirit appears.


• Through some accident on a night hunt, spirit Xiao Xingchen is returned into a soul-less body, or even his own body. Song Lan and him were really just happy to be together again, strange as their situation was, but now Xiao Xingchen has a real physical presence, and that opens up some doors in their relationship that may have been easier to ignore while he didn’t.


• For Art: Any of the above ideas would be great, of course. I would love a picture of them just being sweet with each other? A hug as they’re finally reunited, a kiss, the two of them leaning/napping on each other – tooth-rotting fluff, basically, because they deserve it. Of course, if you would like to go for a more passionate intimate moment, I wouldn’t say no to that at all, either! I don’t mind gorey stuff, so if you want to create a picture with a focus on the missing tongue and/or missing eyes (maybe one of them comforting the other), that’s fine too. For something slightly less heavy, a picture of them travelling together and perhaps talking about the ideas they have for their sect before it all went to hell would be sweet, too. And, of course, I would always enjoy a picture of the two of them night-hunting together. Family pictures with A-Qing are also very welcome.

Jin Guangyao/Lan Xichen
The story of these two really hurt me deeply in the best way. It is such a sweet friendship, with Jin Guangyao honestly caring for Lan Xichen despite seeing most everyone else as pawns, and Lan Xichen being so convinced that the world is wrong about Jin Guangyao and unfair to him – and you know, in many ways they really are, but in the end, there were also too many crimes Jin Guangyao actually committed. For Qin Su, I would like it if her and Jin Guangyao had never met/gotten married, or if she had died a natural death at some point, or ran off with a guy/woman she fell in love with to have a happy life somewhere away from cultivation drama. For smut, I prefer bottom Lan Xichen. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Lan Xichen.

• If you’re going for a full redemption arc plus happy ending, I’d rather if the fic diverged from canon before Jin Guangyao kills Nie Mingjue (which I don’t think Lan Xichen could get over) and before Jin Guangyao kills his father. It could also be an AU where neither murder happens for Reasons, even if those Reasons are just Jin Guangyao being foiled/people dying on their own and he totally might have killed them if he’d gotten the chance (or he finds a way to kill his father that doesn’t involve also killing prostitutes, I’m really not actually bothered by him killing his father, just the other people that died as a result of Jin Guangyao’s canonical plan).


• In such an AU, Jin Guangyao could even still be Sect Leader by handwavey way of rocks fall, everyone but Jin Guangyao’s baby nephew dies; or perhaps those deaths are indeed part of the plot of the fic and have to be solved by Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen.


• However, if you’re going for something in the thirteen year timeskip, I’m also happy with a nice story of them getting together and Jin Guangyao just keeping Lan Xichen in the dark like he does in canon, sort of a semi-happy tale because of course we all know that the other shoe will drop eventually.


• Maybe some co-parenting? Instead of Jin Ruson, Qin Su is the one who dies by assassination. Jin Guangyao really had nothing to do with planning that, but it doesn’t change the fact that he still believes his son eventually has to die. Only problem: when he tries to put the plan in action, he can’t bring himself to go through with it. Now he has to think of some other way to avoid suspicions about Jin Ruson’s heritage. Meanwhile, Lan Xichen stays over more to help out with both Jin Ruson and Jin Ling and since Jin Guangyao is not married anymore, their relationship eventually shifts as well...
  
• Ages are kind of vague anyway, but if you age Jin Guangyao up to be eighteen by the time he helps Lan Xichen hide from the Wen sect, maybe their romance even begins there? Could be Jin Guangyao is already putting in place a plan of seducing Lan Xichen (which gets out of hand when he actually falls in love), or maybe he still has some youthful indiscretion then and just kind of tumbles into it just like Lan Xichen.


• Relatedly, a full AU where Jin Guangyao (or Meng Yao) decides, after being kicked down the stairs: screw all these cultivators, they seem like assholes, I’m going to become a rich clerk (or whatever) instead and not deal with any of that. Except he moves pretty close to Gusu, so it would be good to have a relationship with the Lan sect, which makes him hide Lan Xichen and oh no, this cultivator is very nice and respectful and now he’s in love.


• Someone is trying to kill Lan Xichen. It was not a good idea to try to murder the crush/boyfriend of one of the most cunning men in the country.


• I’d also love some fics about details of their relationship. For example, how did Jin Guangyao come by these pictures in the Blooming Garden study? Did he ask? Did Lan Xichen gift them spontaneously? Were they sitting a little too close as Jin Guangyao watched them being made? Does he maybe have other pictures by Lan Xichen in a more private place? Did he at some point fluster Lan Xichen by asking him to draw himself so that Jin Guangyao could always look at Lan Xichen even when they aren’t together? Did he ever find secret sketches Lan Xichen made of him?


• Night-hunting together is always great! Jin Guangyao is not as strong as other sect leaders, but he is tricky and brought Lan Xichen as muscle; and I would love to see more of him fighting with his interesting sword.


• The two of then helping out Nie Huaisang with some matter would be really fun as well.


• Either a servant really messes up or Jin Guangyao told them to do so because he was interested in what would happen, but somehow Lan Xichen ends up being served alcohol while he’s with Jin Guangyao. How does Jin Guangyao deal with the enthusiastic, happy version of Lan Xichen? Is he just kind of in awe/surprised, or does he make good use by badgering the answers to some private questions out of him... ?


• I have to include a forehead ribbon prompt, of course. Does Lan Xichen offer it to Jin Guangyao? Does it fall off and Jin Guangyao doesn’t think for a moment before he picks it up and is quite mortified, but Lan Xichen says he’s allowed to touch it? Or maybe Jin Guangyao touches/grabs it accidentally and the way Lan Xichen gets flustered tells him quite a bit about his feelings? Does Jin Guangyao take great pleasure in touching the thing once he’s allowed and Lan Xichen thinks it’s cute?


• I admit this is tropey as hell, but I always love animal shapeshifter stories. Maybe you shift according to your personality if you form a golden core? Or is it a hereditary thing (and what kind of shifters are the Jin and the Lan? Did Wei Wuxian bring bunnies to Lan Wangji because he can turn into one, or is it something else)? What do Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen shift into? Or maybe only one of them has that power?


• Smut is always fun, of course. Jin Guangyao does not seem to turn away trysts (he did end up with Qin Su), but does he do it just for fun or is there usually a utilitarian purpose behind his decision to sleep with someone? Maybe sleeping with Lan Xichen is kind of overwhelming in its own way because, oh no, he’s in love. On the other hand, Lan Xichen seems a little more ready than his brother used to be to bend the rules, so has he ever ended up sleeping with someone or is Jin Guangyao the first? Honestly, all options sound fun here! I imagine Jin Guangyao with his perfect memory knew more than he should have even at a young age from what he saw at the brothel, and maybe he also experimented himself, so him introducing a much more vanilla Lan Xichen to kinks would be great, too. Or maybe this is when they’re quite young and both have no practical experiences and thus fumble through together. Is Jin Guangyao worried that he may have missed his shot by being clumsy, but Lan Xichen doesn’t care at all and just liked being with him?


• This could either be A/B/O or other reason men can marry (other methods of mpreg, heirs can be adopted). Rocks fall, every Jin but baby Jin Ling (who I guess is a little older here to make the timeline fit) and Jin Guangyao dies shortly after Sunshot. However, Jin Guangyao doesn’t nearly have enough respect from the sects yet (he only just got his new name) after such an abrupt ascension and now he’s left holding a baby and Koi Tower. While he’s still reeling, to Jin Guangyao’s great surprise, Lan Xichen offers him his own hand to strengthen his position. Now they’re married but pining for each other because Lan Xichen doesn’t want to impose and Jin Guangyao thinks it was an act of friendship...


• For A/B/O or any other reason some men can have kids (or an AU where they can adopt an heir) – I feel if there’d been a way for Jin Guangyao to marry Lan Xichen, he definitely could have tried to seduce him quite early, probably even right after his stint with the Wen sect. After all, what better way to gain his father’s favour than to snatch a valuable marriage to the elder Jade of Lan? However, he also accidentally falls in love with Lan Xichen. Are they married sect leaders eventually, or does Jin Guangyao actually end up enjoying the respect and honest regard he gets from Lan Xichen (plus Lan Xichen being interested in his ideas, like Lookout Towers) and instead settles into his role as husband in the Cloud Recesses?


• Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen sleep together spur-of-the-moment during the tail end of the war. A few months later, Lan Xichen tells Jin Guangyao that he’s pregnant, quite distraught and unsure what Jin Guangyao will think. It’s a great advancement opportunity, of course, a kid with a Lan, so Jin Guangyao is overjoyed. However, maybe he’s a bit more led by his feelings than he wants to be, too.


• Schemer encounters scheming: Someone doesn’t like the fact that Lan Xichen is/was pregnant with a bastard prostitute son’s child at all and tries to get rid of their (just born or still unborn) kid (unsuccessfully, but can definitely be close). Jin Guangyao focuses his entire plot power.


• For A/B/O specifically, maybe Lan Xichen makes for a very awkward omega in the eyes of most (stronger than most alphas in both body and cultivation, tall, a fighter, a leader), and Jin Guangyao is an unusual alpha (shorter, weaker, appears to be quite meek), but they’re very attracted to each other.


• For Art: Any of the above ideas would be great. I would really enjoy something sweet between them, like a hug, or Jin Guangyao giving Lan Xichen a surprise kiss after sneaking up, or one of them wearing (parts) of the other clan’s robes. They also have a pretty significant height difference, so Lan Xichen bending down to kiss him would be nice. Jin Guangyao touching the forehead ribbon or pulling it off would be sweet. Smut would be great as well if you’re so inclined, whether it’s the kinky or romantic type, or both. I would also love a picture of them fighting side by side in the war or during a night hunt, or whispering during a Discussion Conference. And, of course, the two putting their heads together (for work or kissing) in the privacy of the Blooming Garden would be sweet. Also, we know Lan Xichen likes to draw and is apparently very good, so if you want to imitate a sketch or painting he did of them, that would be great as well.

Nie Mingjue/Lan Xichen
I really enjoyed the relationship between those two. Nie Mingjue does not seem to have many, or any other close friends, aside from Meng Yao, though that doesn’t last too long. What was it that made Lan Xichen different, made him fascinating to someone who, according to Jin Guangyao, is interested in nothing but decimating the Wen sect and his sabre? And how did someone as clement as Lan Xichen befriend the hot-tempered heir of the Unclean Realm? When Nie Mingjue isn’t currently trying to kill someone (usually Jin Guangyao), Lan Xichen doesn’t even seem too bothered by his temper at all, and he seems to genuinely enjoy his company as well. I would love to see anything, from childhood stories (perhaps with clandestine first kisses), to their time as young men, to fighting in the war, to a fix-it were all works out differently and Nie Mingjue doesn’t die. For smut, I prefer bottom Lan Xichen. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Lan Xichen.

• How did Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue meet? Are they childhood friends? Did Nie Mingjue also go to the Lan sect for classes with Lan Qiren? Lan Xichen is a bit younger than him, I think, but he’s a Lan, so he might still have sat in the same classes, being a bit further in the curriculum, or shown the guests around. A teenage crush (with first kiss?) that eventually blooms into more once they’re older and get to see each other more often would be cool.


• Maybe Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue are just polite at first, but then start bonding over being older brothers. Lan Xichen wishes Lan Wangji was a little more social and open to people, like Nie Huaisang, and Nie Mingjue wishes Nie Huaisang was as studious as Lan Wangji. Conversations spiral from there. Stuff like Lan Xichen saving Nie Huaisang from some beast or ghost, or Nie Mingjue training Lan Wangji while Lan Xichen watches would also be great and would surely endear them more to each other.


• When Nie Mingjue’s father is wounded during the night hunt, Lan Xichen races to the Unclean Realm to calm Nie Mingjue with Cleansing, but also to be there for him. Already in such a raw emotional state, Nie Mingjue can’t quite keep in his feelings anymore...


• How did Lan Xichen first start playing for Nie Mingjue? How did he even find out that the sabre spirit is so dangerous? Did Nie Mingjue tell him and Lan Xichen actively started searching for a way to help, or did Nie Mingjue just hear him play and then found ever more excuses to ask him to play more for him, until Lan Xichen realised that this was quite strange from someone who otherwise doesn’t seem to like music that much? (Although maybe Nie Mingjue also likes specifically Lan Xichen’s music for other reasons...)


• I would also just love a scene of Lan Xichen playing for him and Nie Mingjue getting to relax for once. Maybe he falls asleep against Lan Xichen’s shoulder at some point and is flustered afterwards? Maybe sitting late in the night over the instrument leads to some confessions?


• Lan Xichen accidentally (or on purpose?) had some alcohol and now Nie Mingjue has to deal with him in his happily enthusiastic state.


• Battle couple is perfect for them. Whether they’re night-hunting together or fighting in the war, I bet they’re great as a team. Bonus points for one of them grabbing the other’s sword at some point (okay, no, Baxia and Shuoyue, smut prompts are further down) and fighting with it in a tight moment and the other finding that very fascinating to watch (okay, this could actually turn into post-battle smut).


• What if Nie Mingjue had survived? I would love to see a romance that develops somewhere in the thirteen year timeskip as they balance their love for each other with their responsibilities as sect leaders.

It could also be, of course, that they’re both experienced and blow each other’s mind the first time they go to bed. And what about kinks? Does Nie Mingjue have some he indulges, or does he just know more than he wants to because Nie Huiasang keeps leaving his books lying around, but now for the first time he’s guiltily leafing through a few of them and wondering how that would work with Lan Xichen? Is Lan Xichen very vanilla due to being sheltered from such things by his sect and very flustered (and intrigued) by everything new?


• For A/B/O or any other AU where mpreg is possible or they can adopt an heir, Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen would have made quite an obvious match. Maybe they were betrothed early, but only met in their teens? Maybe they weren’t even supposed to meet but snuck some clandestine glances at each other/had a few conversation? Or they might also have been convinced they would be mismatched based on their reputations, but then as young adults, they meet during a couple of night hunts and actually get along very well. Do they marry young or is it pushed off until after the war? Do they actually wait to start their romance until then or does it happen during the Sunshot campaign or even before?


• Or maybe it is highly unusual for two sect leaders to marry because it basically means they’re merging their sects a little bit. People think Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue are acting out because of love and that’s their official story, too. However, in reality Nie Mingjue knew he had to do something or his bloodline was eventually going to be doomed because of the constant qi deviations. Lan Xichen, who is after all the leader of the sect who seem to have the secret to taming the Nie, offered his help. Now they’re married and wildly mutually pining because they’re also actually in love.


• For A/B/O specifically, maybe Lan Xichen makes for a very awkward omega in the eyes of most (stronger than most alphas in both body and cultivation, tall, a fighter, a leader), but Nie Mingjue is absolutetly smitten.


• Or for A/B/O, omega Lan Xichen is still considered quite desirable and Wen Xu wants to marry him. This severely speeds up the start of the war courtesy of Nie Mingjue (who may even be his actual betrothed that Wen Xu is ignoring, or otherwise just his friend who would never let that happen even though Lan Xichen might be unhappily considering it for the good of the Lan sect).


• For Art: Any of the above would be great! One of them wearing the robes of the other’s sect (or parts of them) would be really nice to see. Nie Mingjue holding the forehead ribbon or it being wrapped around his arm or otherwise playing with it would be great, too. Then, I would love to see Lan Xichen play the guqin or the xiao for him and Nie Mingjue enjoying himself. Of course, the two of them embracing, kissing, generally being over each other would be fun. Nie Mingjue being flustered as Lan Xichen places a surprise kiss on him would be great. Smut, whether romantic or kinky, would of course be appreciated. The two of them fighting together would also make for a great picture, I’m sure. I’d also love to see a visual depiction of the sabre spirit or Nie Mingjue being affected by it, with Lan Xichen soothing it/him? Also, we know Lan Xichen likes to draw and is apparently very good, so if you want to imitate a sketch or painting he did of them, that would be great as well.

Jin Guangyao/Nie Mingjue/Lan Xichen
I know it was unlikely, but I kind of wanted things to work out for them. They would have been immensely entertaining and probably near-unstoppable if they had managed to get it together, and I always thought that perhaps they could have worked it out if things had gone just a bit differently! After all, they all independently of each other struck up friendships in the first place, so there’s enough there that each of them sees in the others to make a real triad relationship. However, if you would like to instead look at that moment in canon just after they become sworn brothers, or lengthen the time before Meng Yao leaves Nie Mingjue so that they have time to be together there (as long as Meng Yao is eighteen), that would also be great. For Qin Su, I would like it if her and Jin Guangyao had never met/gotten married, or if she had died a natural death at some point, or ran off with a guy/woman she fell in love with to have a happy life somewhere away from cultivation drama.

This fic can of course also include Jin Guangyao/Nie Mingjue, Nie Mingjue/Lan Xichen, or Jin Guangyao/Lan Xichen as long as it eventually turns into a closed triad; I just don't want anybody actively, purposefully cheating on somebody else, but muddled circumstances and we’re-pretending-we're-just-FWB-but-actually-pining is fine (as is two of them actively looking for a third, or just happening to find one, of course). For smut, I prefer bottom Lan Xichen and have no preference between the other two. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Lan Xichen.

• Maybe the Xue Yang problem never becomes such a big issue and the relationship between Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue actually starts to mend, even if Nie Mingjue still doesn’t like sneaky methods and Jin Guangyao probably also takes potshots at him sometimes, especially as they get closer again. Lan Xichen is very happy! Everything worked out as he’d hoped. Except, well, they’re all getting along a bit too well now...


• Lan Xichen is aware Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue used to be together and it looks like post-Sunshot Campaign, they’re slowly starting to get closer again, which is what he wanted! He does everything to facilitate mending their relationship, even though he’s in love with both of them and a bit lovesick. However, he ends up being sucked into the whole matter by accident.


• Jin Guangyao (or Meng Yao, depending on the point in time) has finally found something Nie Mingjue wants, other than sabres and killing Wen dogs, and with which he could manipulate him: Lan Xichen. He does his best to provide Lan Xichen to Nie Mingjue, but his plan kind of goes off the rails and somehow he ends up intimately involved in their relationship. That still works out somehow, though, so plan failed successfully?


• Nie Mingjue notices there’s something between Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen. Fine. It’s not like it’s his business. If he’s hovering and spending more time with them, it’s only because Jin Guangyao can be cunning and Lan Xichen too trusting. He’s not interested in this... however, when the other two invite him along, Nie Mingjue may or may not be surprised how happy he is about it.


• Jin Guangyao is already in a relationship with Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen when his father tries to pressure him to kill Nie Mingjue. Jin Guangyao makes the decision to tell both of them (with evidence) so that they can turn against his father instead. It’s a good way to get rid of his father, but also, he’s at a point where he just doesn’t want to kill one of his lovers and break the other’s heart.


• Someone makes a mistake serving drinks and Lan Xichen ends up drunk (which isn’t difficult, since he only has to accidentally drink a single cup). Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao end up watching over their happy drunk sworn brother, who starts open-heartedly confessing all sorts of things at just the slightest provocation, opening the way to perhaps a different way for their relationship to proceed...


• Or they’re all drunk (well, Jin Guangyao may or may not be, it would also be interesting if he’s still here scheming, but maybe he miscalculated the how strong the drink is) and Lan Xichen gets the great idea in his head to resolve the strange tension between them with some physical affection. It ends in a wild night of sex. The smut itself or the morning after would both be great. Also, maybe, oddly enough, drunk Lan Xichen’s idea of fixing their sworn brotherhood through threesomes ends up working.


• Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao playing together (properly, not qi deviating, lol) for Nie Mingjue.


• A nighthunt or a case for them to solve would be great. How do their different strengths work together?


• What about the forehead ribbon? Maybe Lan Xichen drapes it playfully across the three of them in bed? Maybe either Jin Guangyao or Nie Mingjue touches it first, then the other, and then it becomes a battle about who can get more swipes/touches in that flusters Lan Xichen as much as it pleases him? Maybe both of them get to hold one end when it’s tied around some part of Lan Xichen (okay, that could also be a smut prompt)?

However, maybe they’re all not complete innocents and show this here. Jin Guangyao’s and Nie Mingjue’s relationship devolving into playful rivalry would be fun, whether it involves fighting over Lan Xichen, or whether Lan Xichen eventually ends up complaining (playfully, he’s probably happy that they’re not fighting for real...) that he feels superfluous because they just keep going at each other. And, of course, if one really needs to keep Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue apart for a little bit, Lan Xichen getting in the middle to be spitroasted would work! However, I’d also like to see a threesome between them that turns romantic and sweet, maybe more than any of them expected.


• If they’ve actually been together for quite a while and strengthened their bonds, I would love a three-way marriage, even if it probably has to be a private ceremony for themselves, or maybe with a few family members who know attending.


• If it is an AU where men can marry, does one of them find some historical precedent for a threeway marriage to actually be an option? Maybe the sworn brotherhood makes it possible? Or maybe two of them would have to become, nominally, the concubines of the other? If not, maybe two of them marry (after they’ve decided on the politically most advantageous pair), but invite the third into the bedchamber for the wedding night and make up for him not being able to participate publically?


• Mpreg would be interesting, either through A/B/O or maybe really strong cultivation makes it possible to form new life, or whatever other reason that some men can get pregnant. Lan Xichen ends up pregnant and he’s terrified because he has no idea which one the father is because, well, both did... luckily, this is not a topic Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao end up fighting about at all, they’re happy being a family with the three of them as fathers.


• For A/B/O, maybe threeway marriages with alpha/beta/omega are pretty common. Alpha or beta Nie Mingjue and omega Lan Xichen are about to be married and ask Koi Tower for an alliance. Jin Guangshan is unwilling to commit too much and gives them alpha or beta Meng Yao/Jin Guangyao since he wants to get rid of him, anyway. However, these three turn out to be quite a great triad.


• For Art: Any of the above would be great! The three of them sharing the robes of the others’ sects (or parts of them) would be really nice to see. Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao both playing with the forehad ribbon would also be sweet. Then, I would love to see Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao play the guqin for Nie Mingjue together. The three of them embracing, kissing, generally being all over each other would be fun. One of them being flustered as the other two gang up on him for kisses/caresses would be sweet. Smut, whether romantic or kinky, would of course be appreciated. The three of them fighting together would also make for a great picture, I’m sure. Also, though it happening in canon other than just as a game is unlikely (but maybe it is an AU), a wedding picture would be nice. Also, we know Lan Xichen likes to draw and is apparently very good, so if you want to imitate a sketch or painting he did of them, that would be great as well.

Original Male Character/Lan Xichen
I always like seeing what people come up with when it comes to original characters, and I would really enjoy seeing Lan Xichen bouncing off all kinds of guys you might invent, as I think he has a personality that allows him to get along with quite a lot of different types. Something that starts in his youth or during his time as sect leader would be really fascinating to see, though something post-canon would be just as great. I mean, oh boy, canon did not end well for Lan Xichen, did it? I guess unlike many others, he is not dead, but all his best friends are, he’s learned he should not trust his own judgement even a little bit, is understandably riddled with guilt about both deaths of his sworn brothers, and by the time of the banquet, he seems to be slipping ever deeper into depression. It would be great if he also found someone to love and trust, or if he had an existing lover who could give him a hug. I have some ideas below, but anyone over eighteen who is not related to Lan Xichen and wasn't raised by him (like significantly younger disciples of his own sect) works. For smut, I prefer bottom Lan Xichen. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Lan Xichen. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Lan Xichen.

• Who is the OMC? Maybe a cultivator from a sect who used to come visit when Lan Xichen was still in Lan Qiren’s classes, and whom he maybe had a boyhood crush on? Then, years later, they run into each other again at a Discussion Conference or something.


• Maybe he’s a cultivator or even a civilian that Lan Xichen meets while he’s saving people all over during the Sunshot Campaign. Both being exhausted, frightened, desperate, they spend a night or a few together. They do not expect to meet again (perhaps regretfully so), but it turns out that person moved to Gusu/joined a prominent sect and suddenly they’re facing each other after the war.


• The OMC could also be a rogue cultivator who Lan Xichen knows and likes because he sometimes helps at the edges of their sect’s area. Working together again and again during night-hunts, they get closer.


• Or he could just be a commoner who lives in Gusu or in the other surrounding villages who ends up keeping an eye out for the supernatural (maybe he’s a hunter who travels back and forth quite a bit). Lan Xichen and him keep meeting up and end up really liking each other.


• If this is past the end of the story, maybe Lan Xichen decides to go night-hunting on his own and then finds himself being hit on by a random traveller/hunter who doesn’t know who he is. Feeling like he has little to lose at this point, he shares the bed with him, and they start travelling together. He tells him he’s a sect leader, but the traveller knows little about cultivation and Lan Xichen actually likes just getting to be a person around him. It’s probably a bit of a surprise when Lan Xichen takes him back to the lofty Cloud Recesses, or it’s revealed in a meeting with other cultivators just how renowed Lan Xichen is.


• Or while he’s in seclusion, a low-level disciple he knows, but has never been particularly close with, is tasked with checking on him from time to time. Lan Xichen and him start talking, and then feelings slowly develop. Did the disciple always have a bit of a crush on Lan Xichen?


• For something more light-hearted, Wei Wuxian catching wind of some guy always hanging around Lan Xichen and immediately realising what is going on (maybe even before Lan Xichen does) would be very fun. Hey, Lan Xichen is so depressed in seclusion and it worries Lan Wangji, so as a good husband and brother-in-law, Wei Wuxian basically has to intervene and make this happen...


• Smut would be great! Is the OMC the one who takes Lan Xichen’s virginity or vice versa, or are they both experienced? Does the OMC introduce him to some fun kinks or is in possession of some interesting pornography books? Is Lan Xichen in a “nothing matters” mood after the end and sleeps with several strangers in some attempt to stifle the pain, but ends up accidentally catching feelings for one of them?


• For A/B/O or any other AU where two men can create a child (or are allowed to adopt an heir), Lan Xichen is pushed by the elders to finally get married. Since he knows his duties, he lets them pick an important member of a promising sect. Lan Xichen really did not expect their marriage to be based on love, but to his surprise he actually finds himself enjoying the OMC’s presence.


• A slightly darker version could be that Lan Xichen is forced by the Wen sect to get married to protect the Lan sect. They want to humiliate him, so they give him someone unsuitable – a low level Wen disciple, or someone from an obscure clan like YingchuanWang (or another clan that has come into existence under similarly disreputable circumstances). However, the OMC was never a happy Wen servant, he gets along with Lan Xichen, ends up falling hard for him and defects. (If you want to go plotty or include background happy earlier Wangxian, maybe the Burial Mound-problem never appears because this husband consolidates the rest of the innocent Wen and gains protection for them.)


• If the arranged marriage happens past the ending of the novel, maybe Lan Xichen thinks he can’t bring himself to really love or trust anyone who is not his immediate family anymore. Because he feels guilty that his husband is getting him in this broken state, he tries to be at least pleasant and polite. Turns out his husband, also being a quite high-ranking cultivator, of course knows what happened and ends up being honestly supportive and starts drawing him out more and more. Lan Xichen can’t help but be charmed...


• For Art: Any of the above would be great! The two of them sharing clothes would be nice to see. The OMC holding the forehead ribbon or it being wrapped around his arm or him otherwise playing with it would be great, too. Maybe Lan Xichen plays the flute for him or they dance to someone else playing music? Of course, the two of them embracing, kissing, sitting quietly together (or not so quietly, depending on the OMC’s personality) would also be great. Smut, whether romantic or kinky or both, would of course be appreciated. The two of them fighting together during a night-hunt, if the OMC is a cultivator, would also make for a great picture, but so would Lan Xichen protecting him if the OMC is not a fighter. Also, we know Lan Xichen likes to draw and is apparently very good, so if you want to imitate a sketch or painting he did of them, that would be great as well.

Lan Xichen
This might be obvious from the deluge of Lan Xichen pairings above, but I really enjoyed Lan Xichen as a character and would love to read more about him at pretty much any stage of his life. Since he was a side character we only got glimpses and it would be great to see that expanded on in fic. Whether you want to focus on Lan Xichen alone, his relationships to his family, to his friends, his disciples, or write him in a romance, all would be great to see (if you do write a romance, I’d only be interested in M/M, but I’m pretty open as to who the partner is, so please have a look at the prompt below!). However, I’d honestly be very happy with Lan Xichen getting to pet some rabbits for 300 words or in a sketch as well, so I’m open to a lot here.

• I would love to see Lan Xichen around his family. We see him helping Lan Wangji out in different ways, rooting for his relationship, bending the rules so that the bunnies can stay (and probably so Lan Wangji doesn’t get booted from the sect after some of the less cute things he did relating to the whole Wei Wuxian story, like injuring the elders), but Lan Wangji spends the book understandably focused more on the main character. Did Lan Wangji ever help his brother get around the rules? What was the conversation they had when he visited him in seclusion? I would also love to see the Twin Jades on a hunt together, or Lan Xichen being dragged along for an adventure with Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.


• Speaking of the relationship to his brother, kidfic! Lan Xichen is only like two to three years older than Lan Wangji, yet thanks to their dad doing the permanent seclusion thing, he was forced to grow up right into the role as sect leader. With Lan Qiren being so strict, he was probably also the only real emotional support for Lan Wangji, so it would be nice seeing him trying to be the best big brother he can be, even if he might not always be perfect, being a child himself. Also, he only talks about Lan Wangji’s reaction to their mother’s death, for example, but what was all that like for him? He was not that much older than him. However, I would also love to see a Lan Qiren parenting moment with Lan Xichen or both brothers – I do think he tried his best and cares about his nephews. Also, child Lan Xichen meeting/generally being around young Nie Mingjue would be really interesting, too. He doesn’t seem to have that many other close friends from childhood, at least that we see, so what drew them together? Was there ever a time where, despite the saber spirit weighing on Nie Mingjue’s shoulders and the thousands of Lan rules, they just got to play or go on a little adventure?


• Speaking of his friends, the adventures of the 3zun would be fun as well. There did seem to be a brief space in time where maybe they could have gotten along alright and I’d love to know about the Venerated Triad’s doings there. Also, Lan Xichen’s relationship to Nie Mingjue in general would be fun to explore. How did they get the idea to play Cleansing to calm the saber spirit, anyway? How did these two men with temperaments that seem at first so different end up getting along? Similarly, I’d also like to see more of his relationship with Jin Guangyao over the years. I’m sure he helped out with the Lookout Towers, what was that like? Did he get along with his wife (provided you’re not doing Jin Guangyao/Lan Xichen – in that case, I’d rather Jin Guangyao wasn’t married, or not anymore)? Was he like an uncle to Jin Rusong? Anything like that would be interesting.


• Lan Xichen raising the juniors would be fun. As a clan leader, he’s a bit more stationary, so it’d make sense that he spends quite a bit of time with them. I would love to see him around the group of juniors we know at any point in time (especially his essentially nephew, Lan Sizhui), but OCs would also be really interesting. Or maybe we even see him with the elusive female Lan members? I assume the female juniors would be allowed to talk to the sect leader (and likely Lan Qiren) even if he is a man.


• Lan Xichen being a big damn hero! I loved the description of him in the war, travelling around and helping out where needed, being this ray of hope for people – I would love to see that! However, I’d also like to see him night-hunting, protecting civilians or his juniors and disciples, wielding Shuoyue and/or Liebing.


• Lan Xichen’s canon ending being that he seems to be growing ever more depressed in seclusion is really sad to me. He did make mistakes, but I feel that he does not deserve this as his final fate. Perhaps he’s forced to leave for a night-hunt and realises that there’s still some use to him? Or there’s a problem in the Cloud Recesses that he has to solve and he gains back a little self-confidence as a leader? Maybe Lan Wangji comes around more often to talk or it’s another character who starts engaging with him (perhaps Jiang Cheng visits on an awkward attempt to finally make good with Wei Wuxian and, as a clan leader, is greeted by Lan Xichen, and they kind of start helping each other out)? Or it’s an OC who gives Lan Xichen a reason to get out again, perhaps someone who needs his help or just someone who keeps coming around?


• Lan Xichen with a pet or a small kid. Yeah, I admit I’m here for the fluff. But also a plot if you want to! Maybe some Lan clan members die and leave a child/children and Lan Xichen agrees to raise them? Maybe a lonely orphan follows him around during a hunt and he decides to take them in? Maybe he finds an abandoned child that has somehow been touched by something supernatural and while he’s trying to figure that out, he accidentally starts parenting? As for pets, I know it’s forbidden, but Lan Wangji has like an entire field of bunnies... maybe one of them takes to Lan Xichen? Or maybe he gets to have a different sort of animal. Make him a Disney princess with birds voluntarily coming to his window, haha. I also like the idea of Lan Xichen enjoying horsebackriding, even though it’s an inefficient method of travel in contrast to flying swords (and thus probably not encouraged in the Cloud Recesses – but that might be a reason it feels even more fun).


• For romance, there’s of course some prompts above, but I also ship him just as much with Jiang Cheng, Wen Ning and Nie Huaisang, and Song Lan/Xiao Xingchen/Lan Xichen would be great, too. Generally, I’d be interested in any M/M ship that has a chance to have a happy ending and doesn’t include a man he’s related to, who is underage, or who Lan Xichen raised (like a significantly younger Lan junior), so if you have an idea for another pairing, please feel free to go for it! As for what I want out of the romances... man, I just kind of want Lan Xichen and his partner to be happy. Perhaps Lan Xichen’s lover can comfort him after the ending, or maybe he gets together with him post-ending, or maybe he just gets to have his own love story anytime in the timeline in general, with the implication that it’s not destined to end in tragedy. I also love the idea of post-canon Wei Wuxian realising that [whichever guy you prefer, or an OMC] may have A Thing for Lan Xichen and deciding that he wants to match-make (if Lan Xichen had a nice boyfriend to lift his spirits, then Lan Wangji wouldn’t have to worry so much anymore!), and all the chaos that could ensue from that. If you want to write smut (always welcome!), I prefer bottom Lan Xichen, and for mpreg, pregnant Lan Xichen.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great, of course. Lan Xichen in action with Liebing and/or Shuoyue would be really cool to see. I’d also love to see him among attentive disciples or anyone else who might appreciate his presence. A picture of him and Lan Wangji, as children or adults, would be great (I do love that in the novel when they grow older, their only visual difference seems to be their eye colour and the fact that Lan Xichen knows how to smile, haha). If you’re doing romance, a hug or kiss would be sweet, too. Also, we know Lan Xichen likes to draw and is apparently very good, so if you want to imitate a sketch or painting he did of himself, perhaps with his family or friends, that would be great as well.

Assassin’s Creed

Alexios/Brasidas
Brasidas was amazing and you can’t convince me he shouldn’t have been a romance option. If you are in that part of the timeline with your fic, feel free to ignore the fact that he died because deathfic of requested characters is really not my thing. But lasting, crippling injuries are fine! Or maybe Alexios can save him before any of that happens. I love these two as a battle couple (that tag team fight!), but I also like that Brasidas is one of the few Spartans who doesn’t jump to warfare and murder as the first and only solution to all problems. I write mostly with protagonist!Alexios in mind, but feel free to rearrange the plots so they work for Deimos!Alexios, I like him, too. For smut, I prefer bottom Brasidas. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Brasidas.

• Give me the hurt! Give me the comfort! Give me all the angst! Brasidas had two big battles to get critically injured in. Maybe after the second battle, Brasidas survives, but he’s not fit for army duty anymore. Perhaps he can still fight a bit and Alexios takes him on as a lieutenant on his ship; maybe he can’t and he has to deal with that and Alexios helps with that, too. Or simply Alexios sitting by Brasidas’ bedside unsure if he’ll wake up again, that’d be great, too. Also, if Alexios didn’t manage the best ending, he’ll have to deal with a lot of guilt, since it’s the result of his decisions (I mean, damn, just watch the bad ending with Alexios sitting alone at the dinner table, it’s heart-breaking...). Would love Brasidas helping him heal and maybe eventually think about making a new family.


• I’m so easy for adventure stories. Brasidas and Alexios hunting cultists! Fighting Athenians! Fighting bandits! I really like them fighting (or plotting to solve a situation without a fight) together a lot!


• I you are in the mood to just write smut, I have absolutely no problem with that, either. As much as I think their sex life would be wild and athletic, I would also love a scene of a romantic sexual encounter between them, or Friends With Benefits slowly turning into more.


• Spartan marriage included a ritualistic kidnapping of the bride. This could be fun with Brasidas reintroducing Alexios to some customs of his old and new home by "kidnapping" him, or Alexios deciding to woo Brasidas in the traditional way by stealing him away. (Also, Deimos!Alexios doing the kidnapping could be interesting as well, though probably a good deal more frightening at first.)


• Alright, so, I know I said no dead Brasidas, but this is an exception because you know what? There’s so much mythical stuff happening in this game, Alexios can definitely saddle up and pull his boyfriend/crush out of Hades. Maybe he meets some mythological figure who offers him a deal and Alexios and Brasidas have to do some feats of daring in return? Or he straight up beats up the hellhound and demands an audience with the king of the underworld.


• I’d love an AU where Brasidas narrowly avoids death from the injuries Deimos!Alexios gave him in their second encounter, perhaps is even permanently disabled because of it in some way, but either way most certainly badly hurt... and then Kassandra gets Deimos!Alexios away from the Cult and now he’s living in a house in Sparta and Brasidas has to look him in the face every day when he walks through Sparta. That can’t be too easy. How do they get closer? Perhaps Deimos!Alexios feels like he has to make up for what he did; or Brasidas eventually, for Kassandra’s and Myrrin’s sake, makes an attempt to speak to him. Strangely enough, they start getting along. (This could also be interesting the other way around, where Kassandra is Deimos and now Brasidas has to live with the fact that his lover Alexios brought his almost-murderer home to Sparta.)


• I wish Phoibe had survived and I feel like Brasidas would have liked her. Maybe Brasidas was somehow with Alexios in Athens (in disguise? He does spy things) and managed to save her? Maybe Alexios can save her and brings her to Brasidas so he can protect her (she could be his servant/helper like she was before)? Brasidas wouldn’t send an innocent girl to her almost certain death, especially not if she is Alexios’ friend. Or maybe Brasidas is the one who tells him that though Phoibe is quite independent, Alexios should try to help her for her own good, even if she pretends she can do it all alone. Either way, through caring for Phoibe, the two of them get closer, too.


• Alexios’ special bloodline needs to be continued. Either by way of an Isu artefact, mpreg just always being possible for (perhaps only some?) men, or A/B/O, Brasidas could be the one to carry that kid. Or maybe it has nothing to do with Alexios wanting to continue his bloodline, but he just wants to have a family with Brasidas. I’m also always here for unplanned pregnancies, too.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. Alexios and Brasidas in full armour on a battlefield or in a war camp together (blood covering them optional), or wearing ‘civvies’ like chitons and tunics back in Sparta would be cool. I also enjoy people swapping clothes or armour pieces or wearing the other one’s clothes entirely. I’d also love to see them hugging and kissing, generally being affectionate. The two of them just sitting side by side, eating, sharpening their swords, reading, relaxing would be great as well. They don’t get a lot of downtime in the game. The two of them riding on the back of Alexios’ horse together would be sweet. I’d love to see Alexios’ eagle teasing Brasidas, or perhaps also acting affectionate towards him as a sort of proxy for Alexios (who may not dare to yet). Alexios showing Brasidas the Forge or another Isu place would make for a great picture. I like Alexios being descendant from actual gods and Greek mythology being real as well as the Isu, so a picture that incorporates mythological creatures, gods, tales with the two of them, whether they be classical style or Isu-style, would be sweet.

Alexios/Stentor
Alexios and Stentor have such a deliciously complicated relationship. Stentor is obviously threatened by Alexios’s presence, and Alexios is probably jealous that Stentor got to have Nikolaos as a father whereas Alexios got to be shoved off a mountain. However, considering how attached Stentor is to Nikolaos, I doubt he has any birth family that cares about him, either. He and Alexios might eventually find themselves unexpectedly able to bond over some things. They would also make a great battle couple and their verbal and physical sparring is a lot of fun. I write mostly with protagonist!Alexios in mind, but feel free to go for Deimos!Alexios if you want to, I like him, too. For smut, I prefer bottom Stentor. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Stentor.

• I assume since Nikolaos was happy to have his family back and Stentor wants to please him in all things, he decides to grit his teeth and make nice with the new relatives. I would like to see Stentor wondering where he still fits into this family dynamic now that Nikolaos has his ‘real’ children back, and they both happen to be unstoppable fighting machines with god-like powers that outclass Stentor dramatically (which to a Spartan must be quite important) and also one of them sort of saved Sparta from the Cult and won the Olympics. However, in Stentor’s attempts to learn to tolerate his new brother – whether he be Alexios or Deimos!Alexios –, the two end up developing quite a different relationship. The focus I want is on romantic developments, but I also wouldn’t say no at all to Kassandra/Deimos!Kassandra and Myrrine developing a family relationship with Stentor, too, and Nikolaos getting to know Alexios and Kassandra better, and/or reassuring Stentor. Family fluff is great! Well, as fluffy as this family can get... does the five of them fighting through a bandit camp or something count?


• Speaking of stories with a family focus, you can recruit your whole family as lieutenants after the good ending. Alexios sailing around with his family (or just Stentor) on board, calling them into battle to help him, and their developing relationships would be great. Oh, and him and Stentor accidentally falling in love, of course.


• Stentor and Alexios tell the family about their relationship (or get caught red-handed). How does everyone deal with it?


• Alexios and Stentor have to work together to solve some new problem in Sparta – general politics or Cultist related. This forces them to come closer and look at the other one’s strengths and skills and they develop a grudging respect – and more. Bonus if they fight together at some point.


• I also like the idea of the two of them sleeping together but never admitting their feelings until something bad happens to the other. The rest of the family/their friends is very confused when the dude they thought would have been relieved to see the other go, or at the very least hardly bothered by it, flies completely off the handle and runs to go save their lover or has basically been welded to the bedside of the sick man.


• When they meet again in Boeotia, after the battle, perhaps Stentor gets almost assassinated or badly wounded by some Cultist (or other general traitor) in his ranks. Alexios stays around to help solve the problem and they grow closer over it and fall in love, perhaps even stay close in the coming years?


• I also love the idea of them meeting before Megaris and having an affair and genuine connection, a crush, or at least some hot nights together before they know who the other is. That, or a scene after, when it all falls into place, would be great.

• To everyone’s great surprise, probably Stentor’s included, Deimos!Alexios and Stentor are the ones who have the easiest time finding to each other because fighting is the primary language they both speak. I would really like it if the two of them managed to take out their aggressions on each other, which at first might be nothing but them funnelling their energy so they don’t actually kill each other (and Deimos doesn’t kill anyone else), but slowly turns into friendlier sparring as they grow closer on other levels, too.


• Anything to do with Alexios’ mythical bloodline! I like the Isu fine, but I also like Alexios just straight up being related to Greek gods, so whichever one you prefer. Do Alexios and Stentor run into mythological trouble together?


• Also, stuff with Alexios and his animals and Stentor's reaction to them. His horse seems to be pretty special (20 foot drop is usually something it can walk off), his eagle is clearly magical, and I'd love a story that works with the Beast Master skill somehow, too (feel free to make it more effective/longer-lasting than in the game). Maybe Alexios has permanently tamed himself a mountain lion?


• If you wanna go the smut-heavy route, I have a preference for Alexios on top, but I also like Alexios and Stentor fighting for dominance. A scenario where Stentor is quite happy to often be the loser (and very, very ashamed about enjoying Alexios topping him) would be great, though. I could also see them using fighting, physical or otherwise, as an entrance into their little dalliances. Do they eventually get a point where they realise that they want to sleep with each other even without almost breaking their noses in a sparring match beforehand? Where Stentor even admits to his preference for bottoming, if he has it in this fic? Enemies to People (hardly friends) With Benefits to Lovers certainly is a great trope for them.


• For that matter, D/s with sub Stentor would also be fun. I could see Alexios as a gentle Dom who turns these situations to his favour subtly and softly (and it’s really good), or the two of them going at it from a consensual but probably not very safe or sane angle, where they work out their frustrations with each other and secretly enjoy having really rough sex (Stentor could be the ultimate brat sub…).


• For A/B/O, Stentor as the angriest omega in all of ancient Greece would be a lot of fun (however, him being at peace with his nature would also be interesting, so whichever way you want to write it). I'd love anything about him with Alexios, seriously, so these are really just ideas. Perhaps a sudden unexpected heat can bring him and Alexios closer together? Literally and figuratively, ehm. Or maybe omegas get treated differently/better in warrior-ethos-focused Sparta than they do in the rest of Ancient Greece, so Stentor has quite a bit of independence there, but him and Alexios need to pretend to be bonded on some mission outside the city because Stentor would not be allowed to go certain places/do certain things otherwise (I love pretend relationship turns into real relationship)? Or the Spartan king decides that the alpha who obviously has shown himself worthy of getting a child on the very decorated omega Stentor is Alexios.


• I wish Phoibe had survived and I feel like a plucky orphan like her might win Stentor’s heart against his will. Maybe Stentor was somehow with Alexios in Athens (in disguise) and managed to save her? Maybe Alexios can save her and brings her to Stentor so he can protect her (she could be his servant/helper like she was to others before)? Stentor doesn’t seem to like Alexios, but Alexios judges correctly that he wouldn’t send an innocent girl to her almost certain death. Or maybe Stentor is the one who tells him that though Phoibe is quite independent, Alexios should try to help her for her own good, even if she pretends she can do it all alone. Either way, through caring for Phoibe, the two of them get closer, too.


• Alexios’ special bloodline needs to be continued. Either by way of an Isu artefact, mpreg just always being possible for some men, or A/B/O, Stentor could be the one to carry that kid. Or maybe it has nothing to do with Alexios wanting to continue his bloodline, but he just wants to have a family with Stentor. I’m also always here for unplanned pregnancies, too.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. Alexios and Stentor in full armour on a battlefield or in a war camp together (blood covering them optional), or wearing ‘civvies’ like chitons and tunics back in Sparta would be cool. I also enjoy people swapping clothes or armour pieces or wearing the other one’s clothes entirely. I’d also love to see Alexios teasing Stentor, like hugging him from behind or surprise-kissing him. The two of them just sitting side by side, eating, sharpening their swords, reading, relaxing would be great as well. They don’t get a lot of downtime in the game. The two of them riding on the back of Alexios’ horse together would be sweet. I’d love to see Alexios’ eagle teasing Stentor, or perhaps also acting affectionate towards him as a sort of proxy for Alexios (who may not dare to yet). Alexios showing Stentor the Forge or another Isu place would make for a great picture. I like Alexios being descended from actual gods and Greek mythology being real as well, but the Isu, too; so a picture that incorporates mythological creatures, gods, tales with the two of them, whether they be classical or Isu-style, would be sweet.

Original Male Character/Stentor
I love Stentor. He is so angry, so jealous of Alexios/Kassandra, so worried that he will not live up to what his father wants of him, and he’s trying so goddamn hard all the time. I have this headcanon that Stentor is gay because he’s such a perfect Spartan, but doesn’t seem to have the mandatory-by-thirty wife he would need in Sparta. However, I’m also totally fine with headcanons that he’s bisexual as long as he’s dating a man in this story. I’m happy both with historical fics were Stentor being interested in grown men is not considered proper and fics where M/M marriage is already a possibility. I prefer bottom Stentor for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Stentor. There are some ideas for OMCs below, but feel free to go wild as long as the original character isn’t related to Stentor and isn’t underage.

• Generally, as long as they have a chance at a happy ending, I’m down for pretty much anything. What sort of guy might sweep him off his feet, or at least get his attention? Is it a fellow soldier, or maybe a Spartan man taken out of the fight by an injury who now has other tasks than going to war? Maybe someone not Spartan altogether, but a local resistance fighter loyal to the Spartan cause or one of the non-Spartan inhabitants from Spartan lands, a perioikoi fighting alongside the Spartan warriors or perhaps doing a totally different job? Whatever you come up with would be fun!


• If M/M marriage is possible, Stentor might agree to marry a man to further his father’s family and live according to Sparta’s tradition. Maybe Nikolaos even arranged a marriage, or the kings suggested one? The man would probably be from the upper classes of Sparta. How do they make their arranged marriage work?


• Did Stentor have an erastes? How did they meet and why did he pick Stentor? Was Nikolaos alright with the relationship or did he have to be convinced? Are they still secretly dating despite Stentor’s age now being too advanced for that to still be considered appropriate? (I would like it if Stentor was at least 18 years old when they started their thing, which would be late historically, though not without precedent, but it’s not like AC: Odyssey is one hundred per cent accurate, anyway.)


• Another scenario that might be fun is if a maybe sixteen, seventeen year old, or maybe even a young-looking older teen came up to Stentor at one point and asked to be his eromenos, but Stentor sends him away because he’s not interested in boys. Years pass and Stentor runs into him again and now he’s grown up into a well-spoken, tall, handsome, way too likable guy. To make matters worse, he very quickly recovers his crush on Stentor, who cannot bring himself to dismiss him so quickly now.


• I’d also love to see Stentor take up with a somewhat older man, too, maybe an experienced warrior. Does he help Stentor out as he’s reeling from having to take over Nikolaos’ job without warning? Or maybe the man is already off the battlefield with permanent injury, but a smart person who manages to temper Stentor a bit? Did Stentor used to have a puppy crush on him when he was younger that he somehow can’t get rid off, or does he only learn to like him now when they have a chance to really get to know each other?


• Sort of a specific idea, but I like the idea of a Cultist OC seducing Stentor to get him into the Cult or have him kill Alexios/Kassandra. However, if things went alright with Alexios/Kassandra and Nikolaos, Stentor won’t go for that. Another man fixing Stentor’s broken heart after Stentor realises he’s been used (and in a ploy to get to Alexios/Kassandra, no less – as if his life doesn’t revolve around Alexios/Kassandra enough already) would be great.


• I love me some battle couples, so if the man you choose for Stentor is a fighter as well, I would love to see them fighting together. If he’s not a fighter, maybe Stentor can heroically protect him from some danger?


• Stentor seems like the kind of guy who basically lives in armour, which is what the Spartans want for their men, of course. Still, maybe his partner could make him relax.


• If Stentor can’t marry his lover, perhaps they can still play at it. I’d love Stentor getting kidnapped (or kidnapping) his lover on their ‘wedding night’. I’d also totally want the ritual bridal kidnapping if they can officially get married, though!


• For smut, I definitely enjoy everything listed in my smut likes and would be happy to receive it. If you want a specific prompt, though, I like Stentor working through cultural hang-ups he has about bottoming. Maybe he hasn’t done it before meeting this man? Maybe it’s the first time he’s doing it with this partner? What (or who) convinced him to give it a try?


• For Art: I would definitely love an illustration for any of the above ideas. I also would enjoy seeing Stentor and his boyfriend in ‘civvies’, so maybe in a chiton or tunic or something, just relaxing, or, if they both happen to be fighters, wrestling in nothing but underwear. However, I would also enjoy a picture of them dressed up properly on the battlefield together (or Stentor in full armour being admired by his civilian boyfriend). His partner surprise kissing or hugging grumpy Stentor would be very cute. I also love characters riding on the same horse, so that would be fun. I also like that little scar Stentor has on his lower lip – maybe a picture of his lover touching or kissing it?

Bayek/Apollodorus of Sicily
Apollodorus didn’t have the biggest role, but I really enjoyed the often somewhat teasing interactions between them, as it brought out Bayek’s fun side. They’re both driven and confident people, too, and I think they would get along well in the long run. I would like for Apollodorus to survive, if it comes up in the timeline of your fic, and I think with both of them a bit lost in this new part of their life, with Bayek now fully a Hidden One and Apollodorus having lost faith in Cleopatra and her allies, it could be quite interesting to go past the end. As for Bayek’s relationship with Aya, they could break up at an earlier point than in canon, or this could be set after Bayek and her split up; basically, I just don’t want Bayek cheating on Aya. For smut, I prefer bottom Apollodorus. If you include mpreg, I like pregnant Apollodorus.

• Bayek always seemed more reluctant than Aya to me to put all his personal connections aside. Perhaps he’s still licking his wound over the marriage ending while keeping on eye on a recovering Apollodorus. Then, they start slowly falling in love over long conversations and Hidden Ones business?


• Or Aya and Bayek break up (whether at the end of the game or earlier) and Bayek, hurt and angry, takes some of his feelings out with Apollodorus during passionate sex. Neither of them expects it to become anything serious, but eventually, there’s a breaking point that reveals their feelings. If it happens before the end of the game, maybe it’s Apollodorus almost dying? If it’s afterwards, maybe it’s some other crisis or even a smaller, private moment that makes them realise they like each other more?


• Generally for FWB to romance (or slightly antagonistic acquaintances to romance), do they realise they like each other quite soon, or is there a lot of mutual pining? How do they eventually manage to turn it into a relationship?


• Being disgraced, Apollodorus has to flee his estate in Kanopos Nome. Since he’s still wounded and easy prey, Bayek takes him in. Apollodorus becomes one of the Hidden Ones, maybe sort of a bureau leader? He was already the organiser of Cleopatra’s agents and spies, so he seems to have talent in that direction.


• Or maybe Apollodorus and the Order of the Ancients are at a shaky impasse, where they won’t admit they tried to kill him and he doesn’t accuse them openly because he knows Cleopatra would likely rule in their favour. So Apollodorus continues to live on his estate, but becomes an important Hidden Ones contact/organiser (in exchange for some protection) and him and Bayek get closer.


• Speaking of Hidden Ones work, Apollodorus can be pretty sneaky, too, as we know (that whole carpet stunt!). So I’m sure he could also go on a mission or two with Bayek and impress him there.


• I’d love to see them fight together! Whether Apollodorus plays bait and tank and Bayek comes jumping out of the shadows or they fight back to back, I’m sure it would be fun.


• Exploring old tombs together, riding through the desert, visiting new places... Origin was one of those games were I immensely enjoyed the world and I would love for Bayek to explore it alongside Apollodorus.


• Bayek’s eagle takes a liking to Apollodorus. This may be because she realises that her owner is quite affectionate towards him as well (or maybe because Apollodorus just feeds her a lot of treats, lol). Can she (maybe unwittingly) arrange an opportunity for the two to figure out that they like each other?


• Bayek was always with Aya and very focused on her. Has he ever contemplated his attraction to men, does he accept it, or is it something he’s pushed away so far? Maybe it’s something he still has to come to terms with. I would love for him to work through it with Apollodorus.


• Smut would be great. Bayek seems to have spent his entire life with Aya, so I assume he doesn’t have experience with men. Apollodorus is quite a bit older and doesn’t seem to be married, so he could potentially have quite a lot of experience with men and is happy to share with Bayek.


• Maybe Apollodorus stopped bottoming once he was older (maybe he also did it for a little longer than he should have by the rules of Romans and Greeks, but at his current age, there’s really no argument around the fact that he “should” top). However, Bayek doesn’t feel beholden to all these rules and Apollodorus does enjoy being convinced by him. (On the other hand, I could also see Apollodorus being more free-spirited and using the fact that he does not live in the Roman Republic anymore to his advantage, doing whatever he wants in bed.)


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. I like all of Bayek’s looks, but I have a special preference for him with his beard and sideways ponytail, so if you want to go for that, I’d be delighted. I would also really enjoy a picture of them relaxing on Apollodorus’s estate or in Siwa. The two of them crouching in the shadows during a mission or fighting together in the open would be great. One of them patching up the other after a fight (or after Apollodorus gets almost killed) would also be nice. For canons with horses, I also am obligated to request a picture of them riding on the same horse or camel together. Of course, kissing, embraces, or smut would also be amazing. I’d love a picture that captures their teasing, too, like one of them biting the other’s earlobe, putting their hand down the other’s clothes, surprise-hugging them and stuff like that.

Male Eivor/Leofrith
I’ve always been one for the dutiful-until-death type of character and Leofrith fits that niche so perfectly that it was inevitable he’d end up on my request list. I also really liked that despite his loyalty, he was aware that Burgred was leading them on a bad path and trying to change his mind; loyal, but not blindly so is an even greater combination. Of course, I’ve also had a lot of fun with Eivor storming up and down the English countryside, making alliances and involving himself in the lives of every single villager in Ravensthorpe plus a hundred random people he finds on the way. If you kill Leofrith (which, well, not the end I want, of course, but it’s a good one, too), Eivor names him a drengr, so I think he has a lot of respect for him despite the two of them being on different sides of the war. I would love to see this taken further. For smut, I prefer bottom Leofrith. If you include mpreg, I like pregnant Leofrith.

• When Leofrith said he’d go to Rome, I thought ‘you’re not going further than the river’ because he looked beat-up before the battle and Eivor did a number on him, too. Maybe he breaks down and Ceolbert convinces Eivor to take him to Ravensthorpe? And maybe that leads to him staying there longer.


• I really wanted a Recruit Leofrith option! I don’t think he’s about to go storming monasteries, but maybe he could be something like a village guard at Ravensthorpe? I feel like he deserves to work for someone who actually cares about him and Eivor did seem to like his loyalty.


• Maybe Leofrith only tags along to Ravensthorpe because he wants to make sure Ceolbert is safe, but then he accidentally finds a home there, alongside a lover in Eivor.


• Eivor and Leofrith fighting together! Battle couples are the best and Leofrith can definitely keep up.


• Just Leofrith tagging along with Eivor for a more story-driven mission would be great, too, whether it’s one that is in the game or some other story you’d find interesting to tell.


• Leofrith’s giant greatsword doesn’t indicate that he does a lot of sneaking, but maybe Eivor can teach him? I’d love to see the two of them do the silent approach as well, or Eivor teaching Leofrith the Leap of Faith.


• Eivor accidentally finds himself befriending Leofrith. As a total outsider, he makes a good sounding board for the issues he has with his people sometimes. Leofrith, on the other hand, starts to admire Eivor for his loyalty to his brother and the way he cares about Ravensthorpe. Feelings ensue.


• Leofrith goes to Rome and then returns and runs into Eivor again pretty much accidentally. They travel together for a short time because they’re going in the same direction and hit it off. Maybe it’s a quick roll in the hay that was supposed to happen just once but leads to more, maybe Eivor offers Leofrith a place in Ravensthorpe and it goes from there.


• For an established relationship: When time is a little less of the essence, Eivor shows Leofrith his home country.


• Leofrith meeting Eivor’s zoo of collected animals would be fun.


• I am endlessly delighted that Eivor seems to be using the shortest male model in this game whereas I think they picked the tallest one for Leofrith. Size differences are very good, so if you can find any way to emphasize that, count me in. Maybe Leofrith carries Eivor because he’s wounded or for... other reasons? (Or Eivor surprises Leofrith by picking him up very easily, since he packs a lot of strength in that smaller form, too.)


• Eivor seems pretty free about his interest in men if you play him, at least nothing to the contrary really comes up. Is it the same for Leofrith or does being a medieval Christian stand in his way there? Would love for Leofrith to work through that.


• If Leofrith is not experienced with men, perhaps Eivor can help him with that.


• Even if Leofrith has his experiences, I would love to see what these two get up to in bed, or on/against assorted other suitable surfaces.


• For Art: I’d be happy to see any of the above prompts, of course. Eivor and Leofrith back to back in a fight or otherwise in the middle of battle would make a great picture. Always here for anything shippy, like cuddling in the Eivor’s longhouse bed, the two of them playing with the tame wolf/boat cat/fox, or just hanging out during a feast, for example. I’d love to see Leofrith, maybe one who has gone to Raventhorpe, dressed up in Viking armour (and Eivor being quite smitten with it). As I said, I really like their size difference, so Leofrith bending down to kiss Eivor, or Eivor pulling him down, would be sweet, as would be anything else that puts emphasis on that.

SK8 the Infinity

Sakurayashiki Kaoru/Nanjo Kojiro
They’re like cat and dog and fight all the time, and yet you can immediately sense how important they are to each other. Whether you want to write them as long-term boyfriends or friends who have been pining for ages and only now figure it out, I’m happy about either. Fic set before, during, or after the show is all great. I’d prefer fic of them as adults, but prequel fic of them at school is also an option, though I’d like both of them to be at least eighteen years old if you’re going for smut. Flashbacks are always cool, though! I’d also be very interested in fic that happens in the years between them graduating school and being in the obviously quite established professional positions they are in during the show. For smut, I prefer bottom Kojiro. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Kojiro.

• As I said, I’d be really interested in the period just after school. I guess Kojiro would have gone to Italy for a while at some point. Where they already a couple then? Did they do long-distance? Or maybe this is how they found out that being apart causes them to pine very hard and that maybe their feelings weren’t that platonic.


• Kaoru just standing on Kojiro’s doorstep in Italy one day because either he couldn’t bear to not see him for as long as they had originally planned, or because he realised Kojiro sounded off and just decided to deal with it directly instead of listening to Kojiro tell him it’s fine over the phone all the time.


• Maybe Kojiro moved to wherever Kaoru was studying after Italy? I would love to see them in Tokyo or wherever else. Are Kaoru’s new friends from university surprised to meet Kojiro (Kaoru would probably be hanging with artist and talented computer specialists like himself)? Does Kojiro wonder if Kaoru may have aged out of their friendship/relationship, now that he’s left his delinquent days behind him? Would be happy for Kojiro to be wrong about that, though.


• Past Kaoru/Ainosuke is also always interesting to include! Maybe Kaoru left or rejected Kojiro for Ainosuke, so Kojiro figures he’s definitely not interesting enough to ever get in a relationship with him or Kaoru would have chosen him when he offered, right? Meanwhile, Kaoru did fall in love with him later, but isn’t sure how to approach the topic now.


• It looks like Kojiro may be seriously looking into dating instead of just flirting and hooking up. Kaoru realises he’s very not okay with it. That, or he sees him making out with a man and suddenly realises that that’s apparently an option for Kojiro, which makes his crush a lot less comfortably impossible.


• We already got quite a bit of Kaoru hurt/comfort in the series, so I wonder what Kaoru would do if Kojiro got hurt? He doesn’t seem like the most outwardly caring type, lol, but I feel like he would definitely help Kojiro, even if he’s still insulting him (and also, if it was really serious, he’s also very much a competent enough person to make sure Kojiro is safe and in good hands, of course). Kojiro might try to make light of it, but that only makes Kaoru more determined to keep him in the bed.


• Ridiculous bets for beefs! Maybe they somehow argue each other into skating for a kiss, or an open-ended “doing anything the winner wants to do for a day” type of thing.


• Generally,skateboarding! I would love to see the two have fun together, talk shop, fight about traditional boards vs. whatever Kaoru did to his board and practice together.


• They seem to go on vacation together a lot, too. The two of them having a romantic getaway (even if it was maybe planned as a platonic one) somewhere would be cool. Maybe they get to enjoy the hot springs this time without being attacked by mud monsters? Or they’re somewhere entirely different having fun exploring together.


• Kojiro cooking for Kaoru is always great, too. Does he try out new recipes on him? I’d also love a slightly sick or unhappy Kaoru trying to coax him into getting comfort food (and succeeding, even if Kojiro might tease).


• Smut is always fun! Are they each other’s first? I would definitely love to see some fumbling when they’re just out of high school or so. It probably has room for improvement, but they’re having fun. However, I can also see these two spend literal years pining and by the time they get together, they’ve both made their experiences and can blow each other’s mind.


• For a more specific smut prompt, perhaps Kojiro has never bottomed before (either not with other men, or, if this is an established relationship, not with Kaoru, either), but he’s starting to get curious. Does he bring it up or does it take Kaoru noticing something is up and wringing it out of him? Or maybe Kaoru is the one who wants to top for a change and Kojiro is sceptical he will enjoy it, but think he’ll do it because he wants to make his boyfriend happy, only to really get into it.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be fun, of course! I would love to see them together in their “S” outfits on their skateboards, or drinking at Kojiro’s place in their “civilian” outfits. I would also like to see them both in traditional clothing at a festival (and yes, kissing under the fireworks would be cute, even if it’s cliché). The two of them stretching out in bed on a lazy morning would be cool (and if you want to draw explicit, using the bed for other purposes also would be), but the two of them stealing kisses between appointments/shifts in their busy daily lives, somewhere on the doorstep of one of their places or Kojiro’s restaurant, would be sweet, too. Kojiro cooking for Kaoru while he’s hanging out in the kitchen also sounds great.

Kikuchi Tadashi/Nanjo Kojiro
Tadashi’s whole existence has basically been centered around Ainosuke’s family and specifically Ainosuke himself. I think it would be really interesting to see him develop a deeper emotional connection to someone else and how that would fit into his life. Kojiro, being a friendly and open person, seems like just the guy to get him out of the environment he knows and I would love to see how they play off each other. Generally, I prefer fic set when Kojiro and Tadashi are adults (whether at the time of the show, or before, or after) to high school-age fic, but flashbacks to school are totally fine. For smut, I prefer bottom Kojiro. For mpreg, I like pregnant Kojiro.

• Maybe in the time shortly after high school Kaoru and Ainosuke are a couple, or they pick up a relationship as adults after the show. Meanwhile, Tadashi and Kojiro consider themselves a “pair the spares” sort of couple who mostly hook up because they both can’t be with the one they really want. However, over time they realise they genuinely fell in love. Do they manage to admit as much to themselves and each other? Are they worried the other doesn’t feel the same way? How do they realise the feelings are mutual?


• However, it’s not clear if Kaoru and Kojiro ever met Tadashi when they were younger (or if they know him well if they did). Maybe Ainosuke shows up at “S” more now with Tadashi in tow and Kojiro decides he would like to know what this guy’s deal is. Perhaps they get to know each other while skating against (or with) each other?


• Ainosuke tries to re-establish a tentative connection with Kojiro and Kaoru and Tadashi tags along because, well, he always does; or maybe Ainosuke even sends him ahead a couple of times to deliver invitations and such. This leads to Kojiro and Tadashi striking up a friendship.


• I could also see this as Kojiro just getting closer to Ainosuke’s assistant mostly because he happens to run into him here and there and thinks the guy deserves a break because Ainosuke seems like a pretty demanding boss. So Tadashi will always get food from Kojiro if he shows up at Sia la luce and that’s a good reason to sit down and talk...


• I’m generally all for food-related courtship always. What kind of food does Tadashi like best?


• And, of course, skateboarding! Even if it’s not beefs and high-stakes “S” races (and also if it is), I would like to see them skate together. We got a lot of focus on Ainosuke recovering his joy in skateboarding, but I would like to see Tadashi do the same and for it also to include more than just Ainosuke, since Ainosuke got to open his eyes to other skaters, too. Kojiro might be just the man to teach Tadashi.


• Speaking of Ainosuke, it would be interesting for him to react to the fact that Tadashi has a boyfriend. I’m sure Kojiro is going to be under scrutiny (in all the over-the-top ways Ainosuke decides on). On the other hand, Kaoru might not trust Ainosuke’s secretary to have the sort of personality he wants for his best friend, so he’ll also keep an eye on them. A story with all four of them in it would also be really fun.


• I also really liked the beach/onsen episode of the anime, so Kojiro and Tadashi going on vacation, or the whole gang going and the two of them getting closer during that time would be great. Or maybe they’re already newly in a relationship that’s secret for now, but doesn’t stay that way because of the general chaos of a vacation with everybody?


• Smut would be great! Do both of them have experience with men or has one of them maybe not fully admitted his attraction to the same sex yet? (Kojiro seems the obvious candidate, since he’s always seen only flirting with women, but perhaps he’s also relaxed about it and Tadashi is the one who is only now exploring this part of himself.) If yes, does the other one show him the ropes? However, I would also like for them to both be experienced. Maybe they even start out as FWB with incredible sexual chemistry who don’t think they’ll ever be anything more, but then...


• Puppy play is just sort of, uh, there with Tadashi as like almost a canon characterisation point, haha. I do prefer bottom/sub Kojiro, so maybe Tadashi gets to explore and enjoy a different side to this preference? (At least after a while – I could see Kojiro being chill about bottoming/subbing already, but I could also see him have hang-ups he has to overcome.) Maybe Tadashi could be more of a rowdy dog with him...


• I would also love a fic about Kojiro bottoming for the first time – maybe he hasn’t done it before because he’s never been with a man, maybe he was just never approached that way because people have him pegged as a top but he’s always wanted to give it a try, or maybe he’s a bit insecure about wanting it or didn’t think he would like it and Tadashi is the one to show him that it can be fun. Maybe Kojiro also just agrees to it because Tadashi has always bottomed for him and he wants to return the favour, even though he doesn’t expect to enjoy it (either because he just doesn’t think he’ll like it or because he’s had bad experiences before), but Tadashi proves him wrong.


• For Art: Any of the above ideas would be great. I’d enjoy a picture of them dressed up in their regular clothes, but also something with them in their skate outfits. The two of them skating together, either doing a race or just practicing, would be fun, too. I would also enjoy something like kissing while balancing on their skateboards or over the countertop at Sia la luce. Kojiro giving Tadashi a surprise hug or kiss would be very sweet. I would also like to see them relaxing together, since they both seem to be quite hard-working, whether that’s on vacation, at an onsen, a bar, a street festival, or in bed, or on the sofa together.

Original Male Character/Nanjo Kojiro | Joe
I liked Kojiro from the start with his confident, friendly attitude and sunny smile and I would really like to see him bounce off all manner of other characters in a relationship. I’d be very happy with a complete OMC or an ascended extra, meaning some background character without a line from “S”, or from some other background shot that you thought included a cool character design. Generally, I’d just want the OMC not to be underage and I’d want him not to be related to Kojiro. Generally, I prefer fic set when Kojiro is an adult (whether at the time of the show, or before, or after) to high school-age fic, but flashbacks to school are totally fine. For smut, I prefer bottom Kojiro. For mpreg, I like pregnant Kojiro.

• Someone from “S” would be very interesting, of course. Maybe it’s someone who feels like he has to impress Kojiro with his skill and actually manages to? Or it’s someone who doesn’t quite have the skill/talent to pull it off (in general, or maybe just not yet) and ends up hurting himself, but does get Kojiro’s attention because he helps him to the hospital/patches him up, so it sort of kinda worked, even if the outcome includes bruised pride.


• However, I’d also find it fun if he dates someone who doesn’t have anything to do with skating. Maybe it’s another chef? It seems his restaurant could be popular with businessmen, so maybe one of them keeps coming for more than the pizza? Or it’s a friends-with-benefits thing that turns into more, or a meet-cute with a neighbour?


• I’m also always a sucker for love interests returning and people rekindling old relationships after years apart and falling in love all over again. Maybe during his time training in Italy or going to culinary school in wherever he went, Kojiro had a passionate romance with someone local, but they broke up when Kojiro had to return home or for some other reason. Then, years later, the OMC moves to Okinawa for work/family reasons and the two run into each other again.


• Since I’m a bara fan, it would be fun for Kojiro to meet someone who has a frame similar to his own or even bigger (the latter probably not being something he sees very often). However, I also enjoy shorter/leaner tops a lot, so generally and especially if you plan to write something that involves smut with an OMC, I’d be 100% down for a smaller guy, too (in general, size differences, be they of build or height, are always great).


• Speaking of smut, that’s also something I would love to see explored! Anything relating to my general smut likes would be fun. For Kojiro, I’d also enjoy a story about him bottoming for the first time – maybe he hasn’t done it before because he’s never been with a man, maybe he was just never approached that way because people have him pegged as a top but he’s always wanted to give it a try, or maybe he’s a bit insecure about wanting it or didn’t think he would like it and his boyfriend is the one to show him that it can be fun.


• This is a very simple prompt, but Kojiro cooking for his lover would always be appreciated.


• For any serious lover Kojiro has, I’m sure Kaoru would run a pretty thorough evaluation, even if he pretends not to care who his best friend is dating. Some poor OMC being subjected to that would be very fun. If this is set after the series, the others of the ragtag group might want to be introduced, too – even Ainosuke if he somehow becomes part of the gang. I’m sure that, especially to an outsider who didn’t know of “S” until now, Kojiro’s friend circle could be A Lot (but maybe his boyfriend finds a way to fit in).


• Speaking of dating men, we don’t see Kojiro doing that in the show. Is he aware that he’s bisexual and has dated/slept with men? Does he know he likes men, but for one reason or another never did anything about it, or is it something he’s always sort of pushed away? I’m fine with internalised homophobia here, though I wouldn’t want him portrayed as abusive towards other LBGT+ people, just maybe not quite at peace with himself yet and working on that.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. If Kojiro’s boyfriend skates, I would love to see the two of them in their “S” outfits or just in a skate park. If he doesn’t, maybe the boyfriend still likes to watch Kojiro? Kojiro sharing a meal with his boyfriend that he cooked for him, or having him taste some of his food, would also be great. I’d also like to see them hanging out at the beach, at an onsen, or at a bar, or otherwise having a good time. Seeing Kojiro in traditional Japanese clothing or in a nice suit with his boyfriend dressed to match, or admiring Kojiro, would be fun, too.

Mass Effect Trilogy

Male Shepard/Javik
Javik is possibly my favourite companion in ME3 and I love his interactions with Shepard. He’s so abrasive, but the longer you talk to him, the more you realise that the glorious Prothean empire they taught them about when he was born was really already a long lost memory in ruins and he lived his whole life in a total dystopian nightmare, only to wake up to the next apocalypse. I like Default Shepard just fine, but feel free to make him look different and give him a different first name. Paragon, Renegade or Paragade/Renegon (mix-and-match choices) all work, too, though I wouldn’t want a Shepard who is totally irredeemable. I also like Javik having touched the Echo Shard, but would not want him to go through with his plans to kill himself (but feel free to have him stop at the last possible moment). As for the Endings… whichever one you want, as long as Shepard lives somehow, really! I’m not a fan of any of them and I’d also be totally fine with an AU ending or with the Crucible just being a big Reaper-targeting gun. For smut, I prefer bottom Javik. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Javik.

• I would love for Javik and Shepard to still be out there helping people after the end of the Reaper war. Javik doesn’t really have a place in the new world yet except at Shepard’s side – and him realising that his place being there is true in many ways would be great.


• Javik and Shepard fighting together and being big damn heroes. That’s it, that’s the prompt. Would especially love it if they had complimentary skills, like perhaps a soldier or vanguard Shepard who makes use of the biotic setups that Javik can create, or whatever else you can think of.


• Was there even time for something like romance back in Javik’s day? Or was it all forbidden by their multitude of strict rules to keep people focused? Did people do it anyway? Whether Javik ever had a real boyfriend or not, the man’s definitely dead now (and considering probability, may actually have been one of the indoctrinated people from his ship that Javik was forced to kill). With all that in mind, how does he go about starting a relationship with Shepard?


• What about Shepard? Did he have any romantic entanglements? Maybe he’s just over that break-up with Kaidan or Ashley in ME2 (other former romances are totally fine, too, though), or swore off relationships a while ago for some other reason, and now there’s Javik and suddenly, on the eve of the apocalypse, Shepard wants more.


• Shepard is interested in Javik, but there is an extinction event going on and they’re both twelve flavours of traumatised. But when Shepard recovers after the Crucible incident, suddenly him and Javik have some time and get closer.


• Javik and Shepard tell themselves and each other the fact that they keep falling into bed together is just them letting off steam. It’s definitely more.


• Paragon Shepard (or hell, maybe even Renegade Shepard!) enjoys cuddling, hugging, physical affection in general. Javik needs a little while to get used to it, but finds he’s just as touch-starved as Shepard and really loves it, to his own embarrassment.


• Maybe Javik is the one who is unexpectedly touchy-feely with a partner – after all, Protheans communicate and read through touch. Shepard didn’t think he’d be into it, but he actually totally is.


• Generally, I’d prefer for Javik to have genitalia that is somewhat comparable to humans, whether he's biologically male or intersex. I don’t think it was ever said how Protheans procreate, or how many sexes/genders they had, aside from like one line from Javik that may or may not have been another weird Prothean joke. Three or more sexes/genders or just one, like the asari, could also be options, after all. Javik and Shepard intimately exploring each other would be a lot of fun either way.


• Javik had his trysts with half-opened armour on some military cots back in the day and that’s probably how it went with Shepard at the start, too. It’s really the only sort of sex he knows. Now, after the war, they suddenly have time. Cue Javik getting really flustered/insanely turned on/probably falling even harder (or all of the above) when Shepard decides to spend an evening going really thorough and slow.


• How does the Prothean touch-reading thing work with sex? Maybe Javik is unfailingly good at predicting what Shepard wants him to do in the moment? Maybe Shepard asks Javik to be as vocal as possible to pay him back in kind, since he can’t do the same for Javik?


• Shepard is suffering from PTSD in ME3. Maybe Javik notices through his touch-reading or just context clues and surprisingly turns out to be quite helpful? He must have some strategies to handle it, considering, well, his entire life. Maybe they can also heal together.


• Javik gets hurt on the battlefield, but fights on. This is pretty normal to him as they didn’t have much time for any not totally necessary medical treatment back in his day. To his surprise, after the mission is over, Shepard sits him down in the shuttle (or wherever) for some first aid to hold him over until he can get to an actual doctor. Javik probably gripes that it’s a waste of time/resources, but boy does it not help his crush on Shepard.


• Javik bodyblocking for Shepard or otherwise saving him at the risk of his own health. It’s totally just because Shepard is the avatar of this cycle and not because Javik has a big crush on him.


• If Shepard has one of the firmer personality types (Renegon, Renegade, or even an outspoken Paragon) I could see him and Javik clash often at the start. Their frequent arguments lead to them getting to know each other, though, and they find they have common ground as well.


• The Crucible really is a straight-forward Reaper-killer weapon and the destiny-choice machine was an indoctrination hallucination. Shepard fights through it and uses the weapon and then meets Javik again (maybe collecting a traditional hero’s reward in the form of a kiss?).


• If Javik touches the Shard, he will want to kill himself to be with his crew. I would love for Shepard to either talk him out of it or become the person Javik wants to live for (not the most psychologically healthy thing, maybe, but let’s face it, the bar is low for Javik), and maybe from there Javik can go on to establish a real foothold in the new cycle, too.


• Shepard and Javik building a new life for each other after the war and getting used to peace (something which Javik has never actually seen before and Shepard hasn’t experienced in a while), whether that be on a Spectre ship or in a house on a quiet farming colony.


• Spacer Shepard introduces Javik to his mother (and father if he’s around).


• Shepard and Javik adopting some war orphans and perhaps settling down after the war would be cute. Also, in case you want to go for mpreg, maybe Protheans can get pregnant by any species, like the asari. Shepard is eager to help Javik repopulate the Prothean race (Javik being mpregnant the mammal way or laying eggs both seem equally likely here).


• For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be amazing. Fight scenes would be great, as would be seeing them just chilling together – cuddling up as they sleep (not that they’d admit it), Shepard helping Javik explore the new cycle, watching the stars, maybe visiting the Citadel or some garden colony world or Shepard’s home together (whether that’s where he grew up or some other place with significance for him). I’d also love a picture that shows some small, gentle gesture of affection between them, even as they are both hardened warriors. Them exploring an old Prothean ruin would be interesting, too. I’d also love a picture of them both undressed (not necessarily smut, though I’m not saying no!), contrasting their bodies. What does Javik look like underneath the armour? Does he have wings like some of the collectors?

Male Awakened Collector Adept/Javik
The Awakened Collector Adept is a class you may remember from the ME3 multiplayer and the existence of these rare thinking Collectors has always been absolutely fascinating to me in regards to Javik. He’s the last Prothean, but here are these mutated Protheans, completely jacked up with cybernetics, that used to torment his people for as long as Javik was alive. Now suddenly one is standing in front of him and has returned to being a creature that can think for himself and seems to remember his Prothean legacy. The fact that either of them is still alive must mess with both their heads. What do they make of it? Does the Collector Adept feel uncomfortable around Javik at first because he’s such a stark reminder of what he isn’t anymore? Does Javik feel conflicted being around the Collector Adept because he’s so used to seeing them as enemies, twisted images of Protheans? Or are they simply glad to find someone who still remembers a little of their old lives, even if they might come from completely different generations of Protheans? Their Reaper war spanned centuries, after all. As for the Echo Shard, I like Javik having touched it, but would not want him to go through with his plans to kill himself (but feel free to have him stop at the last possible moment). As for the Endings… whichever one you want, really, as long as the Collector survives! I’m not attached to any of them and I’d also be totally fine with modified endings or with the blunt idea of the Crucible just being a big Reaper-targeting gun, if that suits your story better. • How do Javik and the Collector Adept meet? Perhaps Javik is fighting Reaper creatures (mid- or post-game) and suddenly finds a Collector Adept, or a small group of them, fighting by his side. When the fight is over, he investigates.


• Maybe the Collector Adept is someone who actually saw the Prothean Empire at its height, right before the Reapers hit them, and still remembers. It would be interesting for Javik to meet someone who lived through what he only knew from memory shards.


• Javik and the Collector Adept could also come from the same time period, though, or at least similar situations of Everything Is Fucked Already. This would mean neither of them has ever seen peace. Finding them exploring the new peace together would be great.


• Maybe, through a great coincidence, Javik and the Collector Adept actually do know each other, and meeting Javik again is what breaks the last shackles of the Collector Adept’s indoctrination? How does it go from there?


• The Collector Adept considers himself an avatar of vengeance, as per the game wiki. Javik is probably the last avatar of vengeance the Protheans actually elected. I could see the awakened collectors (or the Awakened Collector) rallying behind him as his disciples.


• How conflicted does Javik feel about the Collector Adept? After all, he has killed a lot of those in his lifetime and now it seems like the Protheans they were weren’t completely lost. Of course, he had little choice, but it must be strange. And then he starts getting closer to the Collector Adept...


• For that matter, how does the Collector Adept see himself? He’s been made to fight against his own people, against these new people, and now he’s suddenly in control of himself again, but genetically modified and filled with cybernetics and only a shadow of what he was. Maybe he and Javik can help each other through their respective feelings of guilt.


• Did the Collector Adept spend all those thousands of years in some sort of stasis, much like Javik, or did he actually live through some or all of that time? Even if he fought for the Reapers only in the majority of the Prothean war, he could have centuries of experience. Maybe Javik learns to find his perspective quite intriguing.


• Smut would be interesting. In which ways are their bodies the same, in which are they different? Does the Awakened Collector still have the Prothean touch-read ability? If not, how do they make up for that? Does the Awakened Collector have some issues with his body, seeing it next to what he remembers a “real” Prothean’s body looking like? Can Javik convince him he still wants this?


• The two of them fighting together, being a great team of biotic bad-asses, or getting to have a moment of peace together, something neither of them will have much familiarity with anymore, would be great.


• How do they deal with suddenly being in a world beyond war when the Reapers are beaten? A world that neither of them feels like they belong to, at that. Maybe this is how they slowly get closer as they try to build another life?


• If you want to go for mpreg, maybe to both their surprise, there’s enough Prothean left in the Collector Adept to get Javik pregnant. Or maybe it’s a conscious decision they make, trying to bring the Prothean species into the next cycle (thinking they’re only working together on this pragmatic goal, but then falling in love), or simply because they want to have a family after never having such a chance in their cycle, or losing their family if they had it.


• For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be amazing. Jaal Ama Darav/Evfra de Tershaav
I always thought these two would make a sweet couple. Jaal is very much the quintessential angara with his emotional honesty, whereas Evfra seems unusually closed-off for his kind. Opposites attract! However, they also have a lot of ambitions and skills in common, both being passionate fighters for the freedom of their people. There’s also this conversation (with timestamp at 1:47) of Jaal praising Evfra to Drack, which just sounds like he may have a crush. Whether it’s set before, during, or after the game, it’s all great. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

• Evfra obviously can’t be on the frontlines all that often since he’s running the Resistance, but we do see that he goes out to fight sometimes, like at the end of the game, and he’s known for being good at it. Jaal and him kicking some ass together would be great.


• Evfra and Jaal going out to some of the planets the new map established and finding old angaran worlds would be cool. Or maybe Jaal just taking him to an especially beautiful, newly rediscovered place! It would be very nice for Evfra to get out a little.


• The angara pushing the kett back in some place and Jaal, who helps at the front lines with Evfra, proving to Evfra how much he has learned in his time with the Pathfinder (and making Evfra’s crush on him that much worse).


• Jaal being with the Pathfinder will obviously make Evfra pay more attention to him. He always figured that he was a very capable soldier (he even calls him his best in one conversation in the game), but now Jaal is showing other talents, too. Naturally, Evfra starts to work more closely with him and suddenly they spend time together...


• Evfra is well aware Jaal has a crush on him, but he’s likely at least 10 years older and has a lot of baggage, so he doesn’t think he’s the right person for Jaal. However, Jaal is persistent and charming and talented and Evfra isn’t made of stone, no matter what people say.


• Evfra has a bit of a crush on Jaal that he’s not going to tell anyone about, ever, counter to how angara usually act (and perhaps also for the reasons stated in the prompt above). Jaal finds out somehow, anyway, and is quite intrigued.


• Evfra and Jaal, true to the angaran habit of emotional honesty, start sleeping together to let off steam. But what happens when they start pining? Because Evfra might not be so honest about that and Jaal might think it means he’s not interested... how do they manage to get together?


• Angara are wild about family, so I’d love Jaal and Evfra tentatively thinking in that direction if they have been together for a while. There are probably lots of orphans around and I’d love the option of adoption (maybe one kid started following Evfra or Jaal around?), but maybe some angaran males can also get pregnant? Being mpregnant might not help Evfra’s mood, but building a life with Jaal sure would.


• If they’re together before the Pathfinder mission starts (or just sleeping together, but realising how much they miss each other being separated this much), I would love to read about their brief but surely passionate meetings whenever Jaal is back on Aya.


• Evfra is a fairly severe and headstrong guy and maybe Jaal thinks Evfra wants to top and thus leaves that spot to him – which Evfra doesn’t mind at all. He’d just also like for Jaal to fuck him, but it doesn’t seem like Jaal is interested and surely someone like Jaal would tell him, since he’s so open about everything else. Jaal is maybe just suffering from a bit of timidity in front of the leader of the Resistance, or thinking that since Evfra very rarely speaks about what he wants or likes, he should go by his best guess. He in fact would very much like to top Evfra. Can they figure it out?


• I’d love for them to do something light-hearted, like explore a kink together (although if you want some inner conflict, maybe it’s a kink one of them is ashamed about – my go-to suggestion is Evfra wanting to sub or Jaal wanting to Dom and wondering what the other would make of that, but feel free to go for something totally different, too!).


• Jaal finds out that Evfra used to sub to his late husband (and/or perhaps to others) and is very interested. Evfra eventually agrees to teach him. Basically, I really like experienced sub/newbie Dom, so, this is that!


• Evfra may have lost a husband (and perhaps even children) with that family the kett stole from him. I could see Jaal being the first person who reawakens the desire to have a lover and/or a family again. How does he deal with it?


• Jaal is still somewhat unsure of his way in life when he goes with the Pathfinder. I’d love it if becoming more secure in his role also led him to realise he wants to take a shot at dating Evfra (and if Evfra finds this new confidence low-key quite attractive).


• Jaal introducing Evfra to his big family as his boyfriend. Obviously, every angara knows who Evfra is and Jaal even has family in the Resistance, but this would be a very different context. How does Evfra deal with suddenly being swept up in a typical giant angaran family again after shutting himself off for so long after losing his own?


• Jaal and Evfra writing messages and e-mails while Jaal is with the Pathfinder, chatting, videochatting, just having a budding (or established) long-distance relationship.


• Both Jaal and Evfra worked themselves ragged lately. Maybe they get to take a few days off together after the kett have been pushed back?


• Whatever the angaran equivalent of a marriage proposal is! That, and the build-up towards it/what happens afterwards would be awesome.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great, of course. I really like the design of the angara, so seeing the two of them together would just be neat. The two of them working together on something Resistance-related or fighting side by side sounds awesome. I’d also like to see them relaxing, though: Evfra napping against Jaal’s shoulder because he just pulled a 48 hour shift at Resistance HQ; Jaal covering Evfra’s entire bedroom floor in weapon parts while Evfra is watching him while working from the bed; the two of them on one of the old or newly discovered angaran homeworlds or colonies (they’re all so pretty in their own ways).

Avitus Rix/Evfra de Tershaav
Evfra and Avitus would make for a great couple, I think. They’re both no strangers to loss and to fighting and leading. Avitus, especially if he accepted the role of turian pathfinder, is basically walking Evfra’s path of trying to push back against what killed the loved one he lost and they might appeal to each other in that way. However, I could also see Evfra having compassion for Avitus if he became a mercenary – sure, Evfra did something different in response to trauma, but I imagine there must have been points in his life where he considered giving up, too. Maybe Avitus becomes a contact on Kadara and later Evfra’s mercenary, getting his second chance that way? And then there’s the turian SAM if Avitus is a Pathfinder... we know very little about this SAM, other than that he got thoroughly shaken by Macen’s death. How involved is he? For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

• The turian pathfinder is put in charge of assisting the angara with rediscovering other possible homeworlds. This means Evfra and Avitus now work pretty closely together. Over time, a connection sparks between them.


• I have a letter dealing with the turian SAM’s involvement in their relationship, so if you’re interested in exploring that (perhaps even to the point of basically making it Avitus/SAM/Evfra, if you’re so inclined), that would also be cool.


• Mercenary Avitus seems to keep away from factions on Kadara, mostly helping settlers. This gets him on Evfra’s radar as a possible contact on Kadara. After meeting him in person a few times (a mercenary who can move among the new aliens is pretty handy) and getting some intel from Jaal, Evfra feels like Avitus deserves the second chance he obviously wants to deny himself. Evfra did not plan to become this closely involved, though.


• Mercenary Avitus taking more and more important jobs from Evfra, eventually realising that he’s kind of helping people again, and that he’s enjoying it, and that he really likes working with Evfra.


• If Evfra and Avitus have both lost their partner (Evfra could have had a husband among his lost family), it’d be sweet to see something melancholy and slightly hopeful. Maybe one of them gets drunk on the anniversary of their partner’s death/disappearance (for Evfra, also because of the other people he lost) and the other joins them and just stays around as a shoulder to lean on. And maybe through that, they come to realise they really like each other.


• Maybe, as pathfinder or mercenary, Avitus becomes one of the first Nexus people to settle on Aya to stay with Evfra. How does he integrate into angaran society? Can Evfra help him?


• Avitus and Evfra exploring a rediscovered world together. Maybe Pathfinder Avitus even prepared it (Vault etc.) and now gets to show it off to Evfra? Or maybe they’re setting foot on it for the first time together?


• Evfra bringing Avitus to where he used to live before everything went to hell with his family. Where is Evfra’s home? And is Evfra bringing him to show him some of his life, or is it a coincidence that they are there for a mission and Avitus eventually has to ask why Evfra seems so tense?


• Avitus showing Evfra around the Nexus, or maybe taking him for a ride to a new world on his pathfinder ship. I’d love to see more about Avitus growing into the pathfinder role/gaining the confidence to face the people at the Nexus again if he’s a mercenary.


• Avitus and Evfra together in a fight! Battle couples are awesome and the leader of the Resistance and an ex-Spectre are going to make a hell of a team.


• But also, Avitus and Evfra getting to relax. Maybe they have a drink at a bar on the Nexus or in a private space, or talk to each other about anything and everything, or they just nap on each other or have slow, passionate sex.


• For Art: Any illustration of the above would be great. Angara and turians have fairly different character designs, with the angara being more made of round lines and the turians all hard spikes, so just seeing them together halfway or fully undressed would be interesting (could be porn, but also just be them bathing or lounging in bed together). A kiss or forehead bump (because of missing turian lips) would be cute as well. The two of them working on something together, whether at the HQ or in the sense of fighting together, would be cool – I love couples being competent together. However, I’d also love a picture of the two of them stretched out on some pretty beach or meadow on Aya or enjoying themselves sight-seeing on the Nexus or a colony world.

Akksul/Evfra de Tershaav
Evfra and Akksul have a lot of similarities, both being leaders who managed to galvanise sizeable movements, and both doing what they did because they felt that the current version of the Resistance wasn’t useful. I think Jaal may have pinpointed the difference between them quite well, though: Evfra is a pragmatist. That’s probably also why his version of the Resistance persists, despite everything, whereas the Roekaar were a more volatile, unstable group. Still, I feel like Evfra and Akksul would have a lot to talk about if they met again and that they probably see more of themselves in the other than they are comfortable with. They would bounce off each other in a really fascinating way and I’d love it if they eventually got closer. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

• The Moshae encourages Akksul to work with the Resistance again. Evfra decides to keep an eye on him because he’s not ready to deal with the Roekaar 2.0 (and maybe because he has a feeling Akksul is going to report back to the Moshae about him). It creates chances for Akksul and him to talk.


• If Akksul is around the Resistance past what happened on Havarl, he’ll learn about the Remnant’s creators at about the same time as Evfra, probably (if not through the Resistance then from the Moshae). Does this get the two of them talking?


• Evfra was not having a fun time of it with the Resistance: the kett always having them on the back foot, the Moshae gone because one of his lieutenants betrayed them, the Roekaar... maybe by the time Akksul splits and he has to start allying with aliens who could be up to anything to get any foot on solid ground, Evfra wonders privately if Akksul isn’t right that he has become ineffective. And maybe in some squabble or fight with Akksul, this does shine through a bit. Evfra does obviously think he has to show a front to be a leader, but maybe Akksul, who himself has failed in his cause, finds him more likable knowing Evfra has doubts, too?


• Something that might be interesting is that even if they’re in a relationship, Evfra might find it difficult to relax around Akksul. After all, isn’t he basically proving Akksul right that he’s not good enough every time he’s not putting his all into the Resistance? And wouldn’t Akksul be correct that Evfra could do more to help instead of making out with his boyfriend? So that could potentially be an unhealthy dynamic that develops accidentally out of Evfra’s accumulated guilt and that they have to fix.


• Evfra’s career in the Resistance began with a raid on a kett labour camp – which we could assume is the one where he might have expected to find his family, but obviously didn’t, even if he freed a lot of other people. The fact that a kett labour camp is exactly where he couldn’t save Akksul from might sting. Basically, he can see his old failure in this failure. Does this influence how he approaches Akksul?


• Akksul was a brilliant archaeologist. Maybe now that he’s returned, he rediscovers his passion? A lot of new things are being learned about the angara, after all. And that’s interesting to Evfra, too, because it directly impacts, well, all angara. Maybe getting back to his calling is what Akksul needs to heal.


• Maybe Evfra is even the one who purposefully pushes Akksul to get back to archaeology, subtly trying to help just by handing him small Remnant tech stuff and asking if he can figure it out for the Resistance, or so the aliens don’t get the jump on them with all the research.


• Obviously his time at the labour camp majorly messed with Akksul, not that it’s a surprise. Can Evfra maybe help him with the trauma if Akksul lets him? I’m pretty sure Evfra must have met many people who have gone through similar things.


• Maybe Evfra kind of admired Akksul’s hard-headedness. He says that he used to think that Vehn Terev always questioning his orders was a strength (before he turned traitor), so someone having their own opinion isn’t something he dislikes. Besides, he obviously approached the new aliens with suspicion, too, so it’s not like he doesn’t understand Akksul at all.


• So Evfra obviously knows how to pull people together or the Resistance wouldn’t be as it is, but Akksul definitely had the majestic public speaking angle down in a way I don’t quite see from Evfra, the grumpy cat, though he has his own form of charisma for sure. Maybe Akksul surprises Evfra by actually helping him with that skill?


• I could see all sorts of sparks flying between Akksul and Evfra if you keep them together in a small space. Maybe their more intimate relationship actually starts out as pretty explosive borderline-hate sex rife with power struggles? But obviously they do that in private, and then maybe Akksul stays in Evfra’s bed sometimes, and you can’t sit in complete silence if you’re already having breakfast together, and...


• Or maybe they slowly realise they actually get along and sort of stumble into a romance that neither of them expected.


• Akksul actually supporting Evfra in his job, maybe surprising Evfra by doing so. Evfra isn’t perfect, but he’s probably better at this whole Resistance thing, after all, Akksul eventually admits to himself, and he wants Evfra to succeed.


• Akksul seeing Remnant tech on new worlds or showing it to Evfra in older places. Evfra doesn’t seem to have a head for archaeology that we know of, but maybe he’s still fascinated, with both the Remnant stuff and with Akksul’s vast knowledge about it, even though Evfra understands only about half of what he’s saying on a good day.


• I’d also like to see the two of them relax for a bit? Their lives were pretty wild lately, Akksul going from being a prisoner of war to a counter-Resistance leader, having his whole view of himself change like three times within the span of, what, two years? And Evfra’s life must be non-stop action ever since he started with the Resistance. So maybe they can just hang out on a nice beach or have a drink in private or sleep in.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great, of course. I really like the design of the angara, so seeing the two of them together would just be neat. The two of them working on something Resistance-related or sitting over old Remnant tech would be great, too. I’d also like to see them relaxing, though: Evfra napping against Akksul’s shoulder because he just pulled a 48 hour shift at Resistance HQ; Akksul fiddling with some Remnant thing while Evfra works on reports; the two of them on one of the old or newly discovered angaran homeworlds (they’re all so pretty in their own ways).

Original Male Character/Evfra de Tershaav
Evfra is my favourite character in this game. I thoroughly enjoy how gruff he is and that his guarded personality makes him such an outlier amongst the angara. Yet, the man has dedicated his life to helping his people, shouldered a lot of responsibility, and the few times you manage to dig a little deeper in his dialogue, it’s clear that he cares about them and even starts to accept the outsiders once they have proven themselves. Please give this grumpy guy with the good heart a boyfriend! For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra. There are some ideas for the OMC below, but feel free to go wild as long as the character isn’t related to Evfra and isn’t underage.

• Evfra is not the most approachable person and people greatly respect, and, as the game suggests, often even fear him. How does the OMC break through his tough shell?


• Or maybe, unexpectedly, Evfra has been in a relationship with someone for a while now, but never really made it public? Would love to see everybody’s reactions when it eventually becomes clear.


• Evfra lost his whole family – perhaps also a husband? It’s very unlikely, but maybe, through some great stroke of luck, that husband is still alive all those years later? But I’m sure this much time in a kett labour camp would have changed him and Evfra must be a much different person now, too, having worked his way up from what seems to have been obscurity to the leader of the Resistance. I would love to see them rekindling their relationship. (If they had other partners in the time in between, thinking the other was dead, I’d like for those not to have been serious relationships.)


• Probably to Evfra’s own surprise, it’s one of the alien newcomers who manages to win his heart. Is it a contact he knows from Kadara or someone else he gets to know on the Nexus?


• However, I'd also love to see an angara as the OMC. Is it a Resistance member, a politician, a random civilian, or maybe even an angara from a newly discovered world which was up to now cut off from the others?


• Evfra enters a political marriage with someone from an important family and figures it will never be more than a marriage of convenience, but then the two actually fall in love.


• Fleshing out the Multiplayer Classes into characters is also always fun. We only have their little wiki descriptions and a handful of voicelines. Who of that group might appeal to Evfra and vice versa? How does he get to know them better? In-game, they were APEX strike teams, but there were angaran characters, too, like the Insurgent and Exemplar. However, I’m also open to a completely original APEX guy.


• I enjoy battle couples, or couples who otherwise work well together in some capacity if your chosen boyfriend for him isn’t into fighting.


• However, I’d also enjoy Evfra getting to take a bit of time off for once with his lover. What do they do to relax?


• Evfra and his boyfriend exploring one of the new places discovered through Meridian.


• Evfra working hard and falling sick/growing exhausted and his lover ushering him home and making him rest; and if Evfra’s sick, it would be sweet if his lover hung around to care for him even with the angaran taboos around talking about sickness.


• Evfra probably hasn’t been on an actual date in ages. I would love for someone to take him out to have a drink or private dinner or maybe watch a movie, just some normal stuff that Evfra probably did in the past but has basically forgotten about by this time.


• Someone is openly flirting with Evfra, which throws him off a little. He’s not exactly opening himself up for contact, after all. Still, we see Evfra doing well with people who put it out there (when the Pathfinder tells him the reason he should let them help is that they get things done, he says “Bold. A little arrogant. Like me.” and doesn’t seem annoyed by it). Maybe he actually agrees to a date, if only to test if the guy means it? And he does.


• Evfra likes karaoke. This is actually canon (well, if Liam’s intel is good, anyway). Maybe his crush/boyfriend can coax him into leaving work be for a while and singing a few songs? Is there a lover’s duet? I don't even mean this in a crackfic way, I just want Evfra to get to have a little fun.


• For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be great. I love the design of the angara in general and Evfra in particular, so chances are I’m already happy about any picture where Evfra appears. I would love to see a picture showing a small gesture of affection between his boyfriend and him – or, if his boyfriend is more obvious about his feelings, maybe a big one, like Evfra getting stealth-hugged from behind. I would also love to see Evfra and his lover on the boyfriend’s home-world, whichever one of the three you want to give him, on the Nexus or in the Andromeda Initiative colonies if his boyfriend is not angaran, or generally in some lush newly discovered place. I’m also very into battle couples, so if his boyfriend is someone who fights, too, that would be a great picture. On the other hand, I would also like to see Evfra relax, so him sleeping against his boyfriend’s shoulder or just hanging out with him half-dressed in bed or eating breakfast or at a bar would be sweet.

Hades

Zagreus/Chaos
I just really like the relationship between these two. Chaos is such a strange entity – unsurprisingly, they are the embodiment of primordial chaos, after all – and Zagreus still manages to relate to them in his own way. The end of their relationship full heart arc, when they tell each other they will miss each other when Zagreus will leave for good, was so cute. I also love that Zagreus is the one who helped Chaos out of their isolated loneliness by dropping by and reconnecting them with their daughter, and Chaos pointing out that Zagreus showed them loneliness isn’t an inevitable fate.

For pregnancy, I like pregnant Chaos, and for smut I prefer bottom Chaos – that is if you want Chaos assuming some sort of human (or human-ish) body for these purposes, since from the waist down Chaos seems to be mostly half-formed faces so far (I’m also fine with any genitalia for Chaos). I’d also be totally down for weird cosmic sex that escapes human experience, though, where Chaos is the whole of their realm, or Zagreus gets to exploring a body that is mostly composed of unmade reality pieces, as long as they both still get sexual pleasure out of it. Something in between of those two options would also be fun! As a sidenote, I really enjoy size differences, so feel free to make Chaos as big as the other “normal” gods are, or even bigger, considering they’re quite the singular being (with perhaps the power to adjust their size somewhat if need be for smut purposes).

• Zagreus tries to figure out how to ask primordial Chaos out on a date. Maybe he asks Achilles for help? Maybe he tries different things but Chaos doesn’t seem to realise? (Maybe Chaos does realise and is just interested to see what Zagreus will do next and eventually releases him by agreeing to it?)


• Chaos created their children alone. It doesn’t seem like they ever had a romantic relationship with anyone (considering how odd they are, they don’t seem very practiced at relationships with other beings in general). Chaos navigating their way through their first relationship and good-natured Zagreus happily being along for the ride would be cool.


• It always strikes me that in comparison to the other realms and even the House of Hades, Chaos’s realm is really calm and quiet. Maybe now that Zagreus doesn’t feel like he has to hurry out anymore, he enjoys hanging out there and gets to know Chaos better in the process?


• What could threaten Chaos? Greek mythology has a lot of crazy stuff happening, so I’m sure there’s something that might shake even them up, like rogue gods or reawakened Titans. Can Zagreus help? What would fighting alongside Chaos look like?


• Chaos finds a way to leave their realm (without causing destruction by introducing chaos to other, fully-formed realms, that is). Zagreus is happy to introduce them to everybody.


• Chaos flirting with Zagreus through really weird boons.


• Chaos notices that their partner Zagreus is working hard trying to collect more and more darkness, but they don’t know why yet. Eventually, Zagreus reveals the Contractors built him his own sigil with which to visit Chaos.


• Dionysus or Aphrodite notice that Zagreus has a crush on someone or is in a relationship and offer special boons that might help along with that (whether that works out as intended or not).


• Maybe Chaos was curious about Zagreus, but since they are already used to being lonely and didn’t want to miss someone again, they didn’t take it further. Now that Zagreus is staying, Chaos feels more comfortable making their interest known (or at least making Zagreus gradually notice it through general Chaos-esque weirdness).


• Smut would be great! I already outlined a little in the introduction all the unusual ways that sleeping with Chaos could go. Would love to a see an enthusiastic Zagreus experimenting.


• Similarly, it would also be interesting if Zagreus had to figure out if sex is even on the table (I would be happy if the answer were yes, of course). Meanwhile, Chaos might not be quite aware that’s something Zagreus is looking for, since they’re new to romantic relationships, but then again, they did make everything and everyone, so they might eventually happen on that idea. Which one of them makes the first offer?


• Is it possible to have something like the archaic, very weird version of phone sex using either the Cosmic Egg or the Aspect of Chaos Aegis?


• In case you like kidfic, maybe they start a family after some time? Chaos creates something with properties of both them and Zagreus, whether that needs a pregnancy period of some sort or is just kinda formed into existence (maybe Zagreus watches Chaos work on their baby like it’s a sculpture or something). Does Zagreus show their new child off to the family once it is done? Grandfather Hades would definitely be funny. However, I would also love some family fluff with just Chaos and Zagreus, either during the creation period or after.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be cool, of course. I also really love the character designs in Hades a lot, so just having a picture of Chaos and Zagreus together in all their glory would be great. I’d also really like a kiss between them. Zagreus fishing in Chaos’s realm while Chaos watches (they like to comment when Zagreus catches something) or even sits next to him sort of cuddling up would be sweet. Also, while this wouldn’t show both characters, Zagreus fondly looking at the Cosmic Egg or showing the Cosmic Shield something would still totally count for me. The underworld denizens also seem to favour portraits a lot, so maybe a portrait-style picture that shows them both together?

Hermes/Charon
Charon is such a mysterious figure, considering we can only ever infer what he actually says in the game, but Hermes talks enough for the two of them, so I think it really balances out. The fact that they have a working relationship, canonically and in mythology, is also really fun and provides great opportunities for the two of them to meet and get to know each other even before Zagreus’s plight becomes something for both of them to work on. I would love to see anything from when they first started to work together, through their long working relationship, or during and after the events of the game.

For smut, I prefer bottom Charon. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Charon. Considering it’s not all that clear what is going on under Charon’s robes, feel free to interpret him to be basically just as human-looking as his brothers are, or make him a little more skeletal, or otherwise lean into the cryptid idea as long as he’s still somewhat humanoid.

• How did Charon and Hermes first meet? It must have been quite early into the history of the human world, at least, considering their jobs. Did they at first find each other strange or did they get along right away?


• Maybe Charon and Hermes were developing a romance, but the rift between Hades and Olympus put a halt to that and they had to stop or continue in secret? How did that go?


• Charon and Hermes throwing caution to the wind and getting together despite the fact that Hades and Olympus aren’t on speaking terms would also be great, even if they do have to hide it.


• After Zagreus repaired the rift between Hades and Olympus, Charon and Hermes shock everyone by informing them that they have been together for quite a long while. Alternatively, I would also like for them to start to get used to actually being able to have a public relationship.


• I would also love a (maybe even outsider POV?) story where Zagreus uses his matchmaking skills to get Charon and Hermes together after noticing that the two of them like each other, but for some reason or another have never acted on it. They’ve both helped him, after all, so he wants to return the favour!


• Arranged marriage could be fun here, too. Maybe the two of them marrying is supposed to further strengthen the ties between Hades and Olympus. Hermes and Charon agree, thinking they’ll just stay professional associates, but turns out it becomes more than that. Or, if you prefer, maybe they’ve been together in secret for a long while, anyway, and find it quite amusing to play along.


• Hermes and Charon fighting together (perhaps against reawakened Titans or some other enemy that could scare a couple of gods) would be great.


• I would also like to see some signs of appreciation and affection. Charon doesn’t seem big on words, but maybe if he made Hermes a valuable gift (instead of hording it like... pretty much anything else) Hermes would understand?


• And how does Hermes court Charon? He’s quick-witted, I’m sure he has some interesting ideas.


• Hermes and Charon taking a little time off together would be fun (as long as not too many souls pile up). Maybe Hermes takes a ride on Charon’s boat (even if I’m sure it feels slow to him!), or maybe Charon has the power to be outside of the Underworld for a bit and Hermes shows him around topside?


• I would like to see their first kiss, first time, anything at the start of their relationship. It’s probably not one either of them expected to be in, so how do they handle it? Do they try to resist the temptation for a while or does one/do both of them go for it immediately when they start to develop feelings?


• It starts out as FWB (sorry, professional associates with benefits!), but then they both start pining. Can they figure out they want the same thing?


• Dionysus and/or Aphrodite are highly amused by Hermes’s odd relationship/crush and one/both of them imbue him with some boon to better woo his lover/crush.


• Smut is always appreciated! Hermes is part fertility god, of course, so I assume he’s very good at it (maybe he has some special tricks up his sleeve, too?). What about Charon? Maybe he never indulged, just figuring it was not part of his destiny. Is he worried he won’t be able to keep up? However, I would also love to see a situation where they’re both quite experienced and end up tearing each other’s clothes off for a passionate tryst.


• How could Hermes’s own powers affect their sex life? All that speed-up could definitely be useful, but I’m sure there’s other possibilities, too.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great, of course. I would really like a picture of them on Charon’s boat together, whether they’re driving up or down the Styx with some souls, alone, or just relaxing together with the boat at anchor. Hermes chilling in Charon’s secret boss arena/hoard would also be really cool. Or perhaps Hermes can show Charon an interesting place upstairs, in the mortal realm? Charon against a less underwordly background would be fun to see. I would also enjoy seeing Charon out of his robe, whether it’s so he can take a swim with Hermes or for smutty purposes. Generally, Hermes being a trickster and surprising Charon with a kiss or hug would be very sweet.

The Silmarillion

Manwë Súlimo/Ulmo
We don’t know that many details about the Valar, but what we hear just got me to ship these two a lot. They’re close friends and when Ilúvatar points out to Ulmo some of the changes Melkor has made and their unintended positive side effect, he specifically mentions clouds “[and] in these clouds thou art drawn nearer to Manwë, thy friend, whom thou lovest.” Ulmo finds this convincing and says he and Manwë are now going to make melodies together forever. Also, even after Ulmo starts separating from the other Valar, it’s still said that through Ulmo’s waterways news come to Ulmo which “otherwise would be hidden from Manwë”, which to me indicates that they still seem to be in regular contact. Generally, I love that Manwë comes across as like an elf-esque Zeus-Odin figure and is, like all the Valar, very majestic, whereas Ulmo has the distinction of having a hint of an almost eldritch vibe, to the point that living beings find him kind of scary to look at, and with his voice “deep as the deeps of the ocean”. It’s also interesting that Ulmo eventually withdrew somewhat from the other Valar and a great potential point for a fic to explore, but I’d also be very happy about a fic of the Valar’s first conflicts with Melkor, the shaping of the world, and so on. Regarding Varda, perhaps Manwë and her separated or were never together. For smut, I prefer bottom Ulmo. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Ulmo.

• Perhaps the reason Ulmo stopped coming to the meetings of the Valar is because seeing Manwë with Varda hurt too much. However, because he lives removed from them, he also misses when Manwë and Varda separate. How and when does he learn? Does it spur him to do anything, or does he still feel like Manwë is not interested in him in general? Does Manwë prove him wrong?


• Manwë actually didn’t think he would be in love again after Varda and he has said so, also to his old friend Ulmo. This becomes a problem when Manwë eventually falls for Ulmo, but knows Ulmo now firmly believes Manwë has no interest in anyone else (and is probably secretly deeply saddened by that thought). How can Manwë fix this and maybe win Ulmo, after all?


• Ulmo is the one who doesn’t think he’s built for romantic love and has said so, but it turns out once Manwë is separated from Varda/after a certain amount of time down on Arda (if Manwë never got with Varda), he realises that what he feels for Manwë is romantic. Does he manage to win Manwë somehow?


• In a version where Manwë never got together with Varda, I would also love to see the two of them start to fall in love when they first end up in the world and everything is still mostly unformed. Do they have innate concepts of personal attraction, love, sex from being semi-gods? Or is it something they start to explore together? (I’d prefer for them not to be too child-like here, just superhuman beings that haven’t explored or really learned about certain things yet.)


• I would also love a story of them fighting together or making music or clouds together or helping some elves/humans. Basically, just showing how their powers can combine and/or contrast.


• If Melkor is still with the Valar or even afterwards, maybe he tries to throw a wrench into their developing relationship by way of some subterfuge or lie (and perhaps succeeds for a while)? After all, Melkor does fear the sea, so it’s not useful to him if Ulmo gets even closer to the leader of the Valar.


• One of them courting the other would be sweet. How do they go about it? Ulmo is clearly the less personable one of the two, so he might have trouble making Manwë understand what he’s trying to do. And what about Manwë? Is he adept at it or does he need a few tries to find a good way to woo someone like Ulmo?


• Manwë seems rather content with his role of king of the Valar in the center of Valinor whereas Ulmo is the weirdo sitting at the bottom of the ocean apart from everybody else. I would love to see how they handle that aspect of their relationship. Does Ulmo move in with Manwë? Or maybe he at least builds another sea palace closer to Taniquetil?


• Are there any songs or legends the elves have about their relationship, any superstitions (true or false) that relate to it (something like if it rains very heavily, it means they’re meeting up, etc.)?


• Smut would be great here, too. I would love to see them have sex in their human-ish bodies (if you’d like, you can focus on the ‘ish’, but I’m also happy with completely human forms), but I would also love to see the them going at it in the way only gods can. Maybe they have to do it away from any human/elven settlements because it tends to produce rainstorms or something?


• For Art: I would enjoy any of the above prompts, of course! Just seeing Ulmo and Manwë together – perhaps during a kiss or embrace or other show of affection – would also be great, though, because I think you could really do interesting things with their character designs. The two of them creating pieces of nature together or enjoying the world they just disovered would be fun. I’d also like seeing Ulmo visit Manwë on top of Taniquetil or in Valinor, or Manwë descending into the seas to visit his reclusive lover in his palace. If you want to go a bit more trippy, I’d love a picture of them together before they took “the raiments of the world”, too, and were in their spirit forms.

Yuri!!! on Ice

Christophe Giacometti/Georgi Popovich
I know they didn’t meet in the series – well, they did on the podium, I guess! –, but considering they’re “veterans” who are pretty close in age, I’m sure these two have run into each other time and again. With Georgi being all about romance and Christophe all about sex, they have a lot of passion (and potential for drama) between the two of them and I’m just really here for all of it. They could meet up at competitions, training camps, or Chris could just switch to Yakov’s rink, or Georgi come to train in Switzerland at Chris’s rink. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

• Chris moves to St. Petersburg to train under Yakov. Since Victor and Yuuri are busy with each other, Georgi helps with the move and they start hanging out.


• Georgi moves to Chris’s rink to train. Chris is not used to having someone with at least comparable skill in the roster (though Georgi is not quite as successful, but he can peak high when he’s on his game, as we saw), so this actually turns out to be quite fun for both of them as it gives Chris competition and Georgi a chance to move out of Victor’s shadow. Plus, they start to get closer...


• Georgi has a crush on Chris, but Chris is mostly with Victor when he hangs out with the Russian team. How does Chris find out? Maybe Georgi told Victor, who blabs to Chris? Or maybe Georgi is just really not subtle?


• What does it look like when Chris tries to win someone over? Does he worry sometimes that he has no cards to draw when sex might not do the trick, like with a hopeless romantic such as Georgi?


• Chris totally thinks Georgi is sappy and is just quietly amused by being showered with love declarations and flowers and Georgi wanting a thousand kissy photos on social media... but maybe he enjoys it just a little bit.

Victor’s and Georgi’s rivalry is so interesting to me precisely because it’s so uneven, with Victor barely having to pay him attention and Georgi’s whole career being defined by being second after Victor in Russia. I also find it very fascinating that they are both probably only two or three years away from the end of their careers at best. What is their relationship going to be like when suddenly it doesn’t matter anymore which one of them can jump more quads? As for Yuuri, I’d prefer if Victor either skipped the banquet or him and Yuuri are broken up again or it’s set before the series. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

• Georgi has a crush on Victor, but Victor never paid him any attention. Somehow Victor learns about it. Maybe he’s just curious at first, but then actually starts to have feelings himself.


• Victor has a crush on Georgi, but didn’t go for it, either thinking Georgi is straight or there’s no way he doesn’t resent him by this point, or both. Georgi is baffled when he finds out, but willing to give it a shot.

I’m sure if Georgi started dating Victor, he’d get dragged pretty hard (fans on social media and gossip mags speculating he’s just here to get at Victor’s wealth/fame). How do they handle that? Or hey, maybe they're lucky and the fans are more positive, and it’s just lots of speculation on twitter, instagram, and the fan forums as Georgi and Victor suddenly seem to start appearing in each other’s instagrams a whole lot more than before.


• Georgi has spent pretty much all his life in Victor’s shadow. Does he have to work through being jealous/feeling outmatched in the relationship? Does Victor realise what’s going on and try to help (or does he accidentally make it worse at first, considering how blunt he can be sometimes)?

• Georgi seems like sort of an artsy type. It might be fun if he took Victor to a gallery or opera or whatever, allowing Victor to interact with things that aren’t ice skating-related, since the hyperfocusing seems to have been an issue for Victor up to now.


• Anya broke up with Georgi and Victor doesn’t know where his career is going and didn’t have the banquet experience. They somehow end up talking, both being quite depressed, and things go from there.

Christophe Giacometti/Victor Nikiforov/Georgi Popovich
This is a great High Chaos Energy triad. All three of them are so extra, but they all do it in their own ways. Also, for Chris and Georgi, Victor is the one to chase, but Victor outruns them with ease, which creates an interesting relationship dynamic; and as we’ve seen, Georgi can be pretty good when he’s not allowing his skate to escape him and getting distracted, so Chris and him have probably been in direct competition during their careers quite a few times, too. They all just had a lot of years to butt heads and of course to get to know each other. This fic can of course also include Victor/Chris, Victor/Georgi, or Georgi/Chris as long as it eventually turns into a closed triad; I just don't want anybody actively, purposefully cheating on somebody else, but muddled circumstances and we're-pretending-we're-just-FWB-but-actually-pining is fine (as is two of them actively looking for a third, of course). For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi and have no preference between the other two. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

Georgi is a sleeping prince and Michele wants to be someone’s knight – it’s a match made in heaven. Besides that, Georgi may be someone who would actually thinks of Michele’s somewhat overbearing version of love as romantic, since he’s himself dialled to 100 most of the time, anyway. They could meet up at competitions, training camps, or Michele and Sara could just switch to Yakov’s rink, or Georgi could come to train in Italy at their rink. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. General Likes for Original Works
Characters and Tropes
I have very few real preferences for characters except that I’d be happy if the men in the pairings were at least 25 years old or older (no limit at all in that direction!) because I enjoy characters who have had some time to gather life experiences. Physically, I mostly like male characters who aren’t super dainty, but anything from skinny to average to chubby to bodybuilder goes. Also, exceptions can of course be made for certain prompts or species – a traditional elf is probably not going to look like Conan the Barbarian.

Feel free to change the characters around to fit your setting and plot ideas. You can interpret my requested kings as chieftains or pharaohs, for example, so with a vaguely equivalent role they would have in a different cultural setting. Also, you can make the characters members of a fantasy or science fiction species, too, if that fits your setting, even if the prompt itself doesn’t specify it. Jaded Warrior King/The Charming Prince Who Is His Betrothed could also be an elves or aliens.

Generally, for pairings I prefer aliens who looks vaguely human: somewhat humanoid build, some recognisable facial features, genitalia that’s somewhat equivalent, though the alien could be intersex (in human terms) and/or from a species that looks closer to male humans and thus tends to be viewed as male by humans, but is actually monosex (if you want some visual direction, the playable species of SWTOR or the companions in Mass Effect would all be totally within range of not being too inhuman for my tastes). If you’d rather go with the true-and-tried ‘human but green’ trope from old sci-fi TV series, that would also be super fun.

I enjoy a/b/o, so you can add that to prompts if you like. I actually quite like omegas who are physically stronger than their alphas, but it’s not a must!

I’m into kidfic, mpreg and adoption stories, so if you want any of the requested couples planning a family, go right ahead, even if it’s not inherent to the prompt.

Settings
For historical fiction or fantasy settings, feel free to make up any number of countries for any time period or location in the world, use actually existing ones, or rewrite them to fit your needs (mpreg exists, homophobia doesn’t exist, gender equality was achieved 3000 B.C., for example), or just divorce it from our world entirely. I like high and low fantasy and everything in-between, Tolkien-esque fantasy or fantasy based in completely different mythologies and traditions. For historical or pseudo-historical fantasy settings, I’m especially into Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome (and all the places in its vast empire), Celtic Ireland, the European Middle Ages, the Italian Renaissance, general Age-of-Sail type stuff, Regency and Victorian England, Feudal Japan, and the Classic Period Maya. But seriously, if there’s something else you like or know about, go for it, even (or especially!) if it’s maybe not something one sees often as settings for tropey slash. If the setting is fixed in the prompt (‘Victorian Gentleman’ and such) you can also very much use fantasy or alternate history settings that just mimic the trappings of that specific period.

For science fiction, I basically love all types. I enjoy the sleek, 1950s inspired looks of gleaming white utopias (with or without adjacent seedy underbelly), cyberpunk ruled by evil megacorporations full of androids and hackers and augmentations, steampunk with air ships that sail the whole universe or the more grungy variation that is all about cranking the dirt and squalor of 19th century industrialisation up, hard-boiled military SF, sprawling space operas, or even comparatively mild “we invented space travel/aliens uplifted us and now we’re part of the interstellar alien community” stuff. You can also mix fantasy and science fiction with magic spaceships and kings that lead galactic federations and such. I also enjoy post-apocalyptic wastelands, but I’d prefer it if some first tendrils of society to have already emerged again, should you go past the end times.

And then, of course, there’s the good old everyday modern world. I have to admit I’m not super interested in mundane modern stuff and most of the pairings I chose probably don’t work too well with it. However, I enjoy urban fantasy with magic and werewolves and vampires, or “our world, but we met aliens/elves decades or centuries ago and now they work alongside you at the office” or something along those lines. Also, feel free to write ideas you will often find in everyday stories, like meet-cutes or other sweet/low-stakes plots like that, in crazy sci-fi or fantasy settings, I like that a lot, too!


Older Ancient Roman Gladiator/Younger Ancient Roman Gladiator
Who are these two gladiators? Did they sell themselves into service? Were they convicted and sent there or are they even captives from the wars? Did they come together to the ludus or did they only meet there and perhaps have very different origins? If the older one has been there for a while, is he an undisputed champion of many years or mostly known for somehow still being alive when he probably shouldn’t be? That would still be a valuable skill for a younger gladiator to learn, after all. And what about the younger gladiator, is he still bright-eyed and hoping for glory or already not a fan of this whole situation? Or maybe he is the one with more arena experience? For the younger one, I’d ideally like him to be at least twenty, but he can also be a lot older as long as there’s still an age gap between him and the, well, older one. I have a preference for the older character bottoming for sex, but certainly doesn’t need to be every encounter. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Older Gladiator. If you do A/B/O, I’d prefer omega Older Gladiator.

Feel free to be as historically accurate as you’d like. If that’s your thing, great! If not, I’m here for everything, including ancient Rome with magic or in space, or pseudo-ancient Rome from a totally different world or timeline, or with changes such as “same-sex marriages are allowed”. This also doesn’t have to happen in Rome itself, it could take place all over the Ancient Roman empire.

• A cynical older gladiator meets an eager young acolyte. He wants to be thoroughly annoyed, but the young gladiator is rather charming.


• The younger man is actually a fan of the older man. Does the older gladiator take him seriously from the start? Does he brush him off at first? Or maybe figure he’s just going to have a little fun in bed with him and not pay him much attention? But then he realises the younger gladiator is not only a good fighter but also someone he could like.


• The younger gladiator doesn’t know the older gladiator and really never planned to get close to an arena, but fate happened. The older one takes pity on him and teaches him not to die in his first fight. They develop a friendship.


• Maybe the younger gladiator is actually the better fighter (he could even have been at the ludus longer, though perhaps the older gladiator is just of the variation that stumbled through many fights by sheer luck over the years) and he helps the older one out?


• The older and younger gladiator don’t get along at all at first and become rivals (possibly also in the arena to the joy of the audience and everyone who makes money from their fights). However, behind the scenes they eventually start to sleep together (maybe starting out as enemies-with-benefits, maybe already in love) and get closer.


• Is the older gladiator the same sort of fighter (for example they’re both provocatores) or a matching type of fighter (like retiarius and secutor) who can teach the younger one directly? Does this prevent them from being paired against each other (for example if they’re both retiarii) or do their matching styles/them both being from a class of gladiators that usually fights the same class lead to them facing off in the arena?


• I’m all here for celebrated fighters in the big Colosseum, but I would just as much like to read about gladiators in some half-forgotten province that barely has a standing arena or a couple of bustuarii or other lower class gladiators. Any setting where gladiators may have appeared would be fascinating.


• It would be interesting to see them facing off against each other! If they’re already lovers, that must be a very tense moment. Do they have a strategy? Or are they the kind of people who are incapable of talking about their feelings and so they can’t admit they want to protect each other and have to wing it?


• If they’re in a smaller arena where gladiators don’t get killed as often because it’s not easy to replace good showmen, maybe the two of them already have a whole system figured out and fight against each other fairly frequently.


• Maybe they are in a bigger arena, but the more experienced gladiator subtly helps the younger one to put on a show that’s so good that the crowd votes for the younger one to live once the older one has defeated him.


• They had a strategy, but one of them accidentally wounded the other pretty badly. The loser is voted to live, but it’s not clear if they will (though I hope they eventually recover!). The other one is anxiously watching them in their sickbed. This would also work with either of them being wounded in a fight with a different gladiator.


• Maybe one of them manages to get freed from the arena and buys out the other one’s contract – or buys them entirely if they are there as a slave or as a convicted criminal, the latter of which probably means bribes need to change hands to free them. Would like it if they were at least already friends at this point with an understanding that the one who freed them doesn’t actually own them now.


• Perhaps the two of them escape together, whether it’s during a full-scale gladiator uprising or just because they take an opportunity when they’re both outside the ludus together and run. I’d be happy to hear about their post-arena life as shepherds in Greece or something!


• For Art: Anything of the above, of course, but generally I would just love to see them in their full armour. Gladiators were decked out for spectacle, so that must look amazing! However, a picture of them sparring together in very simple clothing, hanging out together for a drink or sneaking into each other’s beds would be just as great. Perhaps even something sweet you wouldn’t expect from two hardened warriors, like a hug or gentle kiss?

Overworked Male General/Charming Male Courtier Who Is Good In Bed (M/M)
This prompt just has so many fun implications. Who are the general and the courtier? The general is obviously of quite a high rank, but is he also of high birth? Is the someone who always tends towards working too hard or is he just buckling down because there is no other way at the moment? And what about the courtier? Is he an important man by birth and/or rank or is it his charm (and… other skills) which stands out most about him? Are these two even from the same court? Has the courtier had his sights set on the general for a while and if yes, is it because he’s in love or because the general seems like a fun challenge? Or is their contact more spontaneous? I would love if there was some implication that maybe they’ll spend more than just one enjoyable night together and perhaps even have some feelings for each other.

For smut, I would prefer the General to bottom. If you do A/B/O, I’d like omega General. If you include mpreg, I would prefer pregnant General.

• The courtier and the general are at the same court, but they’ve never had terribly much to do with each other. However, maybe they keep running into each other late in the evening when the courtier comes back from some social events and the general from work, or through some other circumstance. They start getting along.


• The courtier is encouraged as a joke by some soldier friends or nobles who have to deal with the general on a council to try to get the general to slow down a bit before he has a heart attack. It starts out as friendly teasing, but courtier actually thinks the general is pretty hot and not the worst person, either.


• The general and the courtier have a sort of acquaintance-with-benefits thing going on. However, eventually they fall in love and mutual pining happens. Does the courtier wonder if he’s only appreciated for his intimate talents? Does the general think the courtier has many playthings?


• The general has the right lineage and/or amount of clout for an ambitious but lowborn courtier who wants to marry up and maybe not bother much with his husband – and since the general is always working, that would suit the courtier well. The courtier figures he’ll just catch him with his charming temperament and convince him in bed, but ends up actually falling for the general in the process.


• As a reward for his achievements the lowborn general is offered the highborn courtier as a husband. Was the courtier convinced to do this or did he offer? Do they know each other or only know of each other?


• Perhaps the courtier was only seducing the general for fun at first, just to see if he could (because maybe no one else at court has managed yet), and because having a probably very fit soldier in his bed certainly doesn’t hurt, but then he falls in love. How does he convince the general he wants more?


• The general and the courtier meet at some festivity and the courtier charms the general into his bed. Afterwards, the general is quite smitten and quite embarrassed about it, feeling it’s unlikely the courtier has special regard for him. That certainty doesn’t make his feelings go away, though. Does the general try to court the courtier?


• The courtier is somehow thrown into a battlefield or a kidnapping or some other dangerous situation. General to the rescue!


• The general has to contend with some intrigue at court on top of all his work. The courtier, who is much better at these things, helps him out.


• For Art: Any of the above would be great. The courtier flirting with a somewhat flustered or doubtful general would be a fun image. The general sitting dishevelled in bed with a self-satisfied courtier would also be great. Obviously, if you like drawing that sort of thing, explicit art would also be very fitting for this prompt! I also really like period clothing and armour, so the two of them in their full attire would be great. If you like style experiments, something like a portrait of the two or a tapestry or the sort of drawings you’d find in a medieval book would also be awesome (or other traditional mediums/art styles if choose to go outside of the European setting, of course).

Older Decorated Male Knight/Younger Male Knight He Trained Who Is Now A Hero Too (M/M)
I really like the dynamic of this tag, where one person used to be the mentee, but is now just as, or almost as, or even more capable than their mentor. Did they meet in a formal setting (the Older Knight was the Younger Knight’s general or commander) or was it something that happened outside (they’re at the same court and the Older Knight took the Younger Knight under his wing because he saw potential)? I have a thing for top former mentee/bottom mentor, so if that made it into the story somehow if you write smut, I’d be delighted. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Older Knight. If you do A/B/O, I’d prefer omega Older Knight. I would appreciate it if the Younger Knight had been at least 20 years old when he first became the Older Knight’s mentee (so an older squire, or perhaps he wasn’t his squire, but he was still rather green or new to being a knight when they first met), but he can also have been a lot older as long as they still have an age gap.

• Since the Younger Knight stopped being a mentee and became a heroic knight himself, perhaps they lost sight of each other for a while and meet again years later? Maybe the Younger Knight already had a crush on Older Knight back in the day, but the Older Knight found him a bit too green or didn’t even notice. Now the Younger Knight returns and has really grown into a competent and experienced warrior and the Older Knight finds himself accidentally smitten.


• The Older Knight and the Younger Knight have worked together since the Younger Knight was his mentee and have become fast friends over the years. There may now also be a new emotion threading into their relationship, though (or the Younger Knight always had a bit of a crush, but now the Older Knight is starting to return it).


• The two of them jousting against each other, racing on horses, sparring with wooden swords. Maybe there’s a wager about what the winner can ask of the loser?


• One of them participates in a tourney and asks for the other one’s favour or gives them the crown as a means of courtship afterwards. (More likely the Younger Knight is doing it, since he might still like showing off more, but perhaps the Older Knight has always liked doing tourneys?). Of course, perhaps they also both participate in the tourney and basically fight for the right to crown the other and/or wearing eat other’s favours.


• Maybe the Older Knight is captured by someone and tortured/threatened with death. While he’s holding out for now, he’s pretty sure he’s not getting out of that one. Then the Younger Knight comes in and saves him. The Older Knight is worried the Younger Knight is disappointed in him, but the Younger Knight is just happy to have him back alive.


• The prompt above, but with the roles reversed! Maybe the Younger Knight also figured the Older Knight would be angry at him for still making stupid rookie mistakes after all this time, but the Older Knight is just glad to have him back.


• The two of them riding into battle together or going on a quest together or even taking on a diplomatic challenge of some sort would be great. Do the heightened emotions bring out their feelings?


• If this is a more fantastical situation where knights go off on quests all the time, I would love for them to go on a quest together and do heroic deeds (and get closer in the process).


• How would two well-known, respected knights court each other (or how does one court the other)?


• A stressful situation in a battle where one of them goes down and the other races in to save the other, or one of them (perhaps the Older Knight, thinking he’s had a longer life and it makes sense?) goes on a suicide run to save the battle, but afterwards is unexpectedly saved by the Younger Knight at the last second through a skilful manoeuvre?


• For Art: All of the above prompts would be great. As with all Original Work, I’m just very interested to see your interpretation of these characters in a shippy situation. I would love to see them in their armour, of course, but in any case I would also like to see their general style when undressed. The two of them in with their horses or a castle in the background or on the tourney ground would also be cool, as would be a picture where they’re kissing/making out/sleeping together. For something that’s admittedly very elaborate, a picture that shows the two of them as they used to look when they first met (maybe as a portrait in the background?) versus now would also be really awesome.

Older Pro Space Ship Captain/Younger Captain He Trained Who Is Now A Pro Too (M/M)

Male Human Who Just Moved Off Earth/His New Male Alien Neighbour With Tentacles (M/M)
The alien being specified to have tentacles definitely seems to indicate that smut might be afoot with this prompt and I’d very much be here for the Human getting up close and personal with his new Alien Neighbour. However, I would also love to read a story about the two of them getting to know each other and the tentacles just being one of the elements the Human finds fascinating about the Alien Neighbour. Also, what draws the Alien Neighbour to the Human? Does he instantly find him interesting or is it something that grows over time as he gets to know his neighbour? And where do the two of them live, anyway, what kind of place is it?

• The Human has never met the species of alien that his Alien Neighbour is before and is instantly attracted to him. The Alien Neighbour notices and decides he’s definitely up for a bit of fun. However, since they’re neighbours and the sex was good, the temptation to do it again is easy to give in to and suddenly they’re also hanging out together.


• The Human has actually lived in a pretty small town on Earth and has never been off Earth nor has met any aliens before. What made him move away? Does the Alien Neighbour take pity on this total newbie to intergalactic society and help him around the place? Do they get closer like that?


• Maybe the Human is someone a bit older and jaded who left Earth because he wanted to start a new life somewhere. He might not have had any ambitions to make friends, but you can’t really help running into your neighbours every once in a while, so things go from there.


• Has the Alien Neighbour also recently moved to this place and is still getting his bearings? What reasons did he have to leave where he was? Do the reasons help him relate to the Human?


• Maybe the Alien Neighbour has been there for a long while. Why did he come and why did he stick around? Does he help the Human to find his footing and tells him of all the best places to be?


• Or maybe this is the homeworld of this alien species. In that case, is the Human perhaps there as a researcher or because he took a job that needed his highly specific skills? That might make him quite interesting to the Alien Neighbour, especially if not too many outsiders live on his homeworld.


• They keep running into each other because they both live in a sort of chaotic house with a lot of difficult tenants and they always end up being the one helping their neighbours, breaking up fights, keeping people from throwing each other’s things (or each other) out of the windows, catching escaped pets and toddlers, and repairing broken banisters and stuff. The Alien Neighbour is quite happy to have someone else around who is helpful and they get along quickly.


• Staple trope, but the two of them accidentally adopt a stray cat or some stray alien pet together, since it keeps coming to both of them to get fed, and now they have reasons to talk.


• For smut, of course I would love an Alien Neighbour who uses his tentacles hentai-style and a Human who is very into that (or perhaps was a bit apprehensive at first, but then quickly learns of the advantages). However, I could also see an Alien Neighbour whose tentacles function more as extra limbs and so he can hold the Human down for sex without even using his hands (if he has additional ones, at least) if they’re both into D/s stuff; on the other hand, if you would like the Human to be a little more in control, a lot of tentacles make for a lot of places to grab the Alien Neighbour and restrict him (sort of like advanced hair-pulling). Or alternatively, if they’re more the fluffy kind, the Alien Neighbour can give the best multi-limbed hugs.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. I would also love to see the Alien Neighbour and the Human together, maybe with the alien’s tentacles already snaking around the Human a bit. Since this is a somewhat smut-oriented prompt, of course I would also love to see explicit art where the tentacles are put to good use. The two of them chilling in one of their apartments, exploring the place where they live together, or going on a date where the Alien Neighbour shows the Human some cool stuff or a nice bar in his new home would also be awesome. Also, I would love a hug or a kiss where the tentacles are gently encroaching/wrapping around the Human.

Human Galactic Emperor/Alien Galactic Emperor He Marries To End The War (M/M)
It seems like the Human Emperor and the Alien Emperor were fighting this war, but did they start it or is it a drawn-out conflict they inherited from their parents/whoever ruled before them? Has it maybe been going on for several generations? And if they did start it, what made them decide to stop it? Is it a feature in both their cultures to make peace through marriage alliances or is one of them not used to that sort of thing, but is at this point willing to try everything?

• If they are both emperors, then I assume their realms will merge now, or at least become closely allied so that a potential heir would eventually rule over both. That sounds like a lot of paperwork after the initial decision, to be honest. Perhaps these drawn-out discussions are when they get to know each other from a different side?


• The Human Emperor and the Alien Emperor have clashed on the battlefield in person many times, perhaps have even given each other scars or lasting injuries. How do they work on their relationship becoming more amiable? Or did they think they would just be strictly political spouses, but despite everything, they start to like each other?


• As above, but their frequent clashes have already given them a fascination and grudging respect for the other that they’re interested in pursuing further.


• The war was started by their parents (or other predecessors), but before that, the relationship between the empires was good. The Human Emperor and the Alien Emperor perhaps even knew each other as children or grew up in the same court and were childhood friends, or even had an early teenage puppy crush on each other, but then the war tore them apart. What is it like to be reunited after all these years?


• Perhaps there are people in one or both empires who want to keep the war going for one reason or another. An assassination attempt on one of them would be an interesting way to force them to work together, especially if they can’t be sure if their partner wasn’t also involved in the machinations that caused it (though I’d prefer it if they weren’t). Or maybe one also saves the other from the assassination and that’s how they first establish trust?


• Maybe they needed to end the war quickly because a third, more powerful foe has appeared. The two of them taking that enemy on together (whether on the battlefield or with diplomacy) would be great to see.


• I love couples with matching and couples with complementary skills! Maybe they’re both great warriors or skilled diplomats, or one is the former and the other the latter? Perhaps one is very good with numbers and economic matters and the other has better people skills and they realise this makes them very effective at ruling together? Maybe they’re both accomplished space ship pilots and bond over it? Anything like that would be fun.


• How different are their cultures? How much do they know about their respective cultures? That learning experience and the two of them navigating their different expectations would be great, whether it’s about small or big matters.


• With marriages like this, I also always love it when the people start out thinking it’s one hundred per cent a political matter and act accordingly, then fall in love and mutually pine because they are convinced the other doesn’t love them. How do they figure it out?


• But maybe they do decide to consummate the marriage for some cultural reason and it turns out to be a mind-blowing night that throws a wrench in their plans of a lukewarm political marriage because it opens the door to another path.


• For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great to see. I’m very interested to see what the alien’s design would be and, of course, what the human looks like in general. I’d love to see them together in fancy clothes, either for their wedding or a “normal” day at court. What does formal wear mean for the alien and the human in this universe? A picture of the two of them fighting together or strategising together would be very much appreciated, too. Of course, I would also very much enjoy seeing the two of them sharing a clandestine touch at the council, maybe one leaning over the other’s chair as they are working, looking at each other’s scars (perhaps even the once they themselves caused), or sparring together. If there are ways the alien shows affection that aren’t the usual for humans, I would also love to see it (wrapping their potential tail around the human’s arm, for example, or something of that sort).
